As a person who grew up among cats, I had my own cats and started taking care of my friends' cats in my early twenties. After I lost my senior cat four years ago, I started to work in the Animal shelter in Trondheim (Dyrebeskyttelsen Norge Sør-Trøndelag) and I've been a foster home until I moved to Oslo last year. However, the house I found in Oslo wasn't animal-allowed so I have just moved to a new flat in which I could have cat guests again. I enjoy meeting new cats, observing them, and realizing each one comes with a specific/unique character. I found the existence of the cats in the household relaxing. Unfortunately, I am not able to adopt one right now, it's a must to have a cat guest for me. Apart from my experience with cats, I have a PhD in genetics and work on understanding wild animals and their evolution. I have experience with social, anti-social, and aggressive cats. I value their private space a lot although they usually don't value mine (you can see my gallery). Cats <3

I cannot recommend Dilan enough! I booked cat boarding for the first time through Rover and was a little nervous leaving my baby with someone new, but any worries disappeared almost immediately. Dilan and her partner were incredibly attentive and caring. They sent regular updates with photos and messages that honestly made me smile every time. It was so clear that Mochi was being treated like part of the family, not just guest. Mochi came home happy, healthy, and relaxed, which honestly says it all. If you're looking for someone who will truly love your cats while you're away, look no further! 🐱❤️
We’re so grateful to Dilan for taking such amazing care of our cat, Kitty, again - this time for three weeks! From the moment we dropped him off, we could tell Kitty felt right at home. Dilan and her partner gave him so much love, attention, and care, and it really shows how much they genuinely enjoys spending time with cats. We got regular updates and could see that Kitty was happy, relaxed, and totally spoiled! 😊 We couldn’t have asked for a better person to look after him. Schedule
I'm in between jobs after PhD and working on post-PhD-related studies at home. So I will be available for your pet 24/7. Therefore, I can follow specific dietary requirements or medical care necessary.

Safety, trust & environment
In my household, pets could freely roam in a safe and secure environment (locked windows, away from stress factors. If I am going to pay a visit to the owner's home, I require a to-do list and I follow the directions. In both of the cases, I always keep updated the owners with the photos and situations as I know it's really hard to be away from our pets.
A typical day
Every pet, more specifically every cat has their own type of entertainment, so I ask these specifics beforehand. Activities during the day may change according to the guests' needs. Such as some cats need regular exercise and some of them aren't really interested in games at all.
