I've taken care of dogs since i was 15. My family had up to 5 dogs at the same time, all rescues. Since then, we had over 12 dogs, sharing responsibilities, care and loads of love. Later, I rescued 2 cats, Dirce and Martina, when I was living on my own.

I live in a very spacious flat, on the ground floor, with controlled access to a beautiful, shared back garden, big enough to play fetch or just enjoy the grass and sun.

I've had the pleasure of knowing Diego for years, and I can confidently say he is one of the kindest, most caring people I know. I've visited his parents' home many times, and it was always clear how much love he was raised with—especially surrounded by a wonderful pack of dogs that were truly part of the family. Growing up in that environment gave him a deep respect and genuine affection for animals that you can see in the way he interacts with every pet. Diego is incredibly patient, responsible, and attentive. He truly cares about every dog's well-being, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether it's going for walks, playing, or simply giving them companionship, he treats every animal as if it were his own. Beyond being an amazing dog lover, Diego is trustworthy, reliable, and an all-around lovely person. I would have complete peace of mind leaving my own pets in his care, and I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for someone who will provide exceptional care and genuine love for their furry family members.
Was my first time using rover. I made a few mistakes like booking wrong day and the wrong service but Diego was fantastic. He helped me correct everything and even when my key safe broke he still managed to come in and look after my dogs. Dogs loved him, we loved him, will definitely be asking him again in the future
Every time Diego took care of my cats it was pure magic. My youngest is not very friendly around other people but he managed to get her trust very quickly, she loves being around him, which doesn't happen to anyone else. He is very careful and gentle, gives them medicine and plays with them. They are always in a great mood when he has been around caring for them.
Diego is the best pet sitter I’ve ever had. He genuinely loves animals and cares for them. I’m glad to have found someone so dedicated and caring.

Schedule
I'm a writer and teacher, and I work from home every day, including weekends. I have a pretty flexible and organized schedule that I can adjust according to my projects. I usually set times for pet care early in the morning, during lunch break, early evening and before bed.
