I boarded my 11 year old Eskimo with Diego and to my surprise he went above and beyond to care for her. My dog has separation anxiety, Diego was patient, kind, and sent me pictures/videos daily. I really appreciated it. I highly recommend his service to anyone looking for a dog sitter as well as I will be using him again should I need someone in the future. Amazing job.

Schedule
I run my own business from home with my own schedule, so I'm flexible and available throughout the day (including short notice). Honestly, I do this because I love dogs, not out of necessity, which means your pup gets my full attention and genuine care, never a rushed visit squeezed between obligations. Whether it's a midday walk, a drop-in, or full-day care, I'll happily build a routine around what works best for you and your dog.

I live in a spacious one-bedroom with a large, open living room. I have 2 doggy staircases to the couch for my frenchies (no jumping, bad for their joints). Plenty of room for your dog to relax and play. I'm a 30-second walk from the Tompkins Square dog run, so getting outside for exercise and bathroom breaks is easy and frequent. I also have 2 friendly, well-behaved Frenchies who love company and are very friendly (and I'm happy to keep dogs separate if yours prefers their own space).

A typical day
Your dog gets both exercise and attention. We'll head to the dog run around the corner to socialize and play fetch (after checking with you first ofcourse) I also have tons of toys for your pup to play with while he keeps me company while I work on my business from home. I also respond to messages within minutes as communication is key. And get ready to be annoyed by all the pictures. You’ll always know what your pup is up to. If it were me that is what I would want. So that is what you will get.

I am familiar with taking care of senior dogs. All the dogs I have had have lived long lives. One even until she was 17. Medications were regular. And she never made it easy lol.
