I extern as a veterinary assistant 4 days a week (7am–5pm), so I’m available for evening walks, drop-ins, and overnight care on those days. I have full availability on weekends and one rotating weekday off, which allows for flexible scheduling and extended care when needed.

It’s helpful to know about medical conditions, medications, allergies, or past surgeries as well. I also appreciate knowing about any behaviors such as anxiety, triggers, or things they particularly enjoy, so I can provide the best and most personalized care possible.
A typical day
A typical day includes walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention. I adjust activities based on each pet’s needs, whether that means calm care for recovery or extra exercise and stimulation for energetic dogs.
