Safety, trust & environment

Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s, my top priorities are safety, comfort, and maintaining the pet’s normal routine. I take the time to get to know each animal’s personality, preferences, and any medical or behavioral needs so I can provide tailored, attentive care. In a client’s home, I treat the space with respect and follow all instructions carefully—from feeding schedules to walk routines and medication administration. I aim to keep your pet’s day as consistent and stress-free as possible. I also send regular photo updates so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away.

Pet care experience

*Just recently, I have moved to Portland, ME for medical school (class starting end of June). I am available every day from 7:30 am - 8 pm to provide pet care services. Thank you for visiting my profile!* I bring a genuine love for animals, hands-on experience, and a strong sense of reliability to every pet I care for. I volunteer weekly at the Manchester Animal Shelter, where I’ve worked with dogs and cats of all temperaments, providing enrichment, walks, feeding, and plenty of affection. This has given me experience with everything from energetic puppies to shy or senior pets who need a gentler touch. I’ve been a lifelong cat owner, so I understand the unique needs and personalities of felines. I also have past experience pet sitting for both cats and dogs, and I pride myself on providing consistent, attentive care that mirrors the routine and comfort of home. Whether your pet needs playtime, medication, or just a calm presence while you’re away, I’m here to give them the same level of love and care I’d want for my own animals.

Dianne was very responsive and helpful! Even though the kitties knocked down a plant and their litter robot malfunctioned, Dianne kindly stepped in and took care of it. Thanks Dianne!

Dianne is reliable and communicative. She takes great care of pets and it’s clear she loves animals!

Dianne is great with animals, and she grew up with cats her whole life, so she naturally knows how to take care of them. She is always babysitting pets for friends and family, and even took care of her professor's farm for a whole week. She was looking after goats, dogs, cats, and horses, which gave her a ton of hands-on experience. She seriously loves animals, and whenever she gets the chance, she volunteers at shelters too. Dianne is super caring, really patient, and always puts animals first. If I needed someone to look after my pets, I wouldn’t even think twice about asking Dianne.
