I'm working full-time in ministry so I have lots of time throughout the day to care for your loved one and will be gone no more than a few hours per evening for bible studies and groups. I take my dog, Tonka, out 5-6 times per day minimum and we love to go on walks and be outdoors.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large field directly behind my home and live in a very pet-friendly area tucked off the main road so your pup will enjoy lots of safe and supervised outside time! I allow animals on the furniture and keep all choking hazards up high. My dog has a knack for finding even the smallest things to mess with so I have good practice with keeping a safe home.

Information Dianna L. would like to know about your pet
Regular schedule information, needs and wants for the dog, is it friendly towards other dogs, is it okay being left unattended for a few hours at most.
A typical day
Wake up and head outside for an hour or so to sniff around and get those morning bones moving. Then snuggles and quiet or play time in the house. Maybe a long walk or a trip to the lake/river for play on the bank in the afternoon. Lots of enrichment around the house and as many car rides as your pup would enjoy!

Pet care experience
Over the past 16 years, I've cared for just about any animal you can imagine! A flying squirrel, a 15-foot python, dogs, cats, horses and more. I have my own pup of seven years and we absolutely love welcoming friends into our home. We live on a .4 acre lot in central Christiansburg and I have an incredibly flexible schedule so we're up for anything! Let me put your mind at ease as being away from your beloved pets is hard enough. I'll send multiple updates throughout the day and lots of pictures. Happy to care for any and all animals.

Reviews
I needed someone to watch my sweet girl tootsi for a couple of days at the last minute and I’m so thankful I found Dianna! She and her doggo tonka welcomed tootsi in their home like she was apart of their family. Tootsi was happy when I picked her up, and Dianna even gave her a toy to go home with when she didn’t have to do that at all! I really appreciate how kind and welcoming she was & will be booking again if I ever need to! I also appreciate all the cute and funny videos and pics I got while I was away. 5/5☺️ !
We adopted a maltipoo while Dianna was a nanny for our daughter during COVID. While she did not sign up for caring for a puppy as well as a child, she took it upon herself to help train Peanut with our daughter and show our daughter what to do as well. When we traveled, Dianna would take care of Peanut in her home and she did a phenomenal job. She sent photos and videos to keep us updated and even bought new toys for Peanut to keep at her house for him.
Dianna watched my doodle, Winnie, for 4 days at a moments notice. Winnie was in great spirits when I picked her up and she had a fun weekend of playing with Dianna’s dog Tonka and being in a safe place. She sent me pictures and videos at least twice a day and treated Winnie like her own.
