It's a staycation for your pup!
We are an active, loving pet family with a fenced, clean yard for your pet to play and meet new playmates. We have been sitting for over 10+years and enjoy taking care of family fur pals. We care for your pups as a loving family. We like to go on walks on the hiking trails and to parks close to our home. We go on daily walks. We encourage outside play time. We have a yard with a new fence with lots of space for outside play time or laying in the sunshine or shade. Your pup(s) are supervised, and played with all day. I am able to take them out for walks and play fetch with them throughout the day. They have a large space to run and play with shade trees and a canopy over the patio. If your fur pal is slowing down, no problem. We match their activity level on walks or play time outside. Your pet will be safe, secure, pampered and loved during his/her stay in our home. Please make sure your pet has an id tag with your information on their collar. If your pup is crate trained for sleeping, we have a crate for their stay. They always sleep inside our home, we let them pick their sleep spot. Required over night stay things to bring: Food (in a sealed baggie or small container with your pups name on it, a leash, harness, and any other care needs like medicine or treats. We have doggie bowls and play toys. We generally care for more than one pup at a time so we don’t recommend toys or expensive bedding since the pups tend to share or chew a friends toy or bed sometimes. We have experience with potty training puppies and caring for aging seniors and pups on medications. Doggie Day Care: Please book 24 hours in advance, same day requests may be declined at sitters discretion. Monday thru Friday Hours for daycare: 7 am to 6:30 pm. If you need a different time for work hours, let us know we can be flexible. We love being your pets new destination for sleep overs or day care. We have a great group of regular visitors so your fur pal will have a fun, safe and active stay with us. All questions are welcome!

This was my first time using Rover so I was really nervous but Diann made me feel so comfortable with the process. She watched our sweet Sky and gave us updates throughout the weekend.
Diann and Kevin were great. Harlow came back tired and happy after an overnighter. I loved that Harlow got some doggy friend time w Jelly and the others and Diann was very communicative and give us updates. I’ve been wanting Harlow to be around more dogs because she can be temperamental sometimes but Diann said she was fine w the other dogs. She also trimmed her paws which was very nice of her. We will definitely be coming back when we need someone to watch Harlow.

Schedule
My days are flexible with remote work. We have someone home to care for the pups 24/7, depending on family errands. We make sure the visitors are supervised inside and outside.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully fenced yard for the dogs to play and explore when they are outside. Jelly prefers to be outside during the day watching for squirels in the trees, so they always have a playmate.

A typical day
We go on walks around the American River. If they don't like walks that is ok too. We take them out to parks, we have one within walking distance. They have all day access to play outside with friends and toys.
