Updated 9/2023: I am a dog and cat person. Mine are always spoiled and treated like they’re my children. I would treat yours with love and kindness too. I currently don’t have any dogs but have had different breeds over the years. I am a retired special education teacher, so special needs dogs I have a soft spot for and do have experience with. I have a 10 year old cat but he is gated off in his own section of the house. If your dog likes the couch, bed, music, tv, I can accommodate. I can also work with other special needs. So far this has been a blast getting to know your dogs. My repeat customers have become furry family members. They become very comfortable in my home very quickly. Please read the reviews. Diane was wonderful in taking care of Willa. My dog is very friendly but has distinct characteristics that Diane worked through, and she made me feel comfortable while I was out of town.
Diane was great with Winifred. I love the fact that she sent me a picture of Winifred, and I could tell how relaxed she was. We will definitely have Diane take care of our puppy again.

There is an infant in the house Monday through Thursday during the day. Dogs must be able to get along with small children. There is also a cat but is contained to his own section of the house.
A typical day
I can provide neighborhood walks. Also metro parks if you allow. Throwing balls in the yard if the dog can be off leash in an unfenced yard. Otherwise indoor play. Water play in summers. Cuddle time.

Starting May 27, 2024 I will be available 24/7, except for a two week vacation the last week of June and first week of July.
