** Hampstead area! 15 minutes from Porters Neck. 30 minutes from Midtown Wilmington. 15 minutes from Castle Hayne** I have done pet sitting for over 20 years for friends and coworkers. I fully believe they are not just pets… they are family! We have a very social and friendly black lab mix, Gigi, that we rescued from Pender County Humane Society. Before her time at the shelter, we were told she was in raised in a home with other dogs and cats. Gigi certainly misses the interaction and companionship of a furry counterpart and what better way to make sure she has new friends than to pet sit! Rest assure your pet’s safety, health, and comfort are my top priority. I am no stranger to caring for senior dogs or administering oral/topical medication. I also have experience with puppies and breeds of all size. Your furry friend will get tons of belly rubs, plenty of walks to sniff all the trees and fire hydrants, an occasional treat (or two), and lots and lots of love! I lsend multiple photos and updates each day so you can feel at ease knowing your pet is being well cared for but of course can cater to your communication preferences! My children are 8 and 14 and enjoy taking part in the responsibilities of pet care and loving on fur babies! From going on family walks with the pups, playing ball in the fenced backyard, or snuggling up on the sofa together …your pet will feel loved and at home during their stay with us!

Tank And Chopper loved staying with Diane and her kids. She was amazing at sending up pictures and daily updates on them. I would recommend her to anyone looking for amazing care for their fur babies.
My dogs are traitors. They know they're going to Dianes when I pack their overnight bag. Then they get really excited running around and jumping on me to take them. On the drive to drop them off they pace and whine in the back seat. I'd say they're pretty happy there and treated like family, which is exactly what we want.

Schedule
I work from home and am off on weekends. Meaning your fur babies will be cared for continuously throughout the day, able to go potty frequently, and help ease any separation anxiety they may have!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a spacious, pet-friendly, and non smoking 2 story home. Pups will have full free-range of the entire downstairs during the day and can sleep upstairs with us in the evening! I have a fenced in backyard, a small kiddie/doggie pool if they like water, and plenty of space for them to run and play! I have dog beds, blankets, an XL kennel if crating is your preference (otherwise they will have the whole first floor to roam free) , bowls, doggie gates, poo bags, toys and more. If there is something special needed please feel free to ask or bring it along for your pet’s stay!

A typical day
We are an active household with a large fenced in backyard, toys, kiddie/doggie pool, and tons of space to sprawl out. We will adhere to all dietary needs and ensure proper nutrition, have daily walks and play time, and snuggles on the couch when they’re all tuckered out.
