A Cat Lady with a Dog
**Please note** I expect each dog may have an accident in the house while they adjust to a new environment, but I do charge a $25 fee for each additional accident after the first. Booking with me means you agree to these conditions. My regular clients typically do not have this issue, so please let me know ahead of time if your dog has any special circumstances. Thank you! I currently have a flexible schedule, as my work is appointment-based. I will have days where I need to be downtown for longer periods of time, so please let me know if your dog is unable to be at home for up to 8 hours. I do have cats at home. While I can keep them separated for the most part, I am unable to take any dogs that have a history of aggression towards cats. Thank you for understanding! My dog can take a minute to warm up to new dogs, so she remains crated for the first night of your dog's stay. Once she's used to another dog in the house, all she wants to do is play. -------------------- I've been active on Rover for a couple of years now, but I've grown up with cats and had them my whole life. I adopted my first dog in 2021, a Great Pyrenees, and she's the absolute best. We like to stay active when the weather is nice, and snuggle under the blankets at home when it isn't.

Our go to! Diane is the best!

Very easy to communicate with Diane, and she is very flexible. My dog had a great time with her. She lives so close to me, definitely will use her again in the future.
Diane was such a great sitter for Hudson. Thank you for the peace of mind!

Diane took such good care of our older lab over the holidays. We’ll definitely have him stay with her again!

Thank you, again!! You are the best!!

Diane is the best! She is always flexible and accommodating and my pup maple loves weekends at her place!

Schedule
My current work is appointment-based, so I have a pretty flexible schedule. Occasionally I'll need to be downtown for longer periods of time, but I don't leave my own dog crated for more than 8 hours max. I don’t usually travel for holidays and I hate staying up late, so trust that your pets will get as much snuggle time as they want! I wake up, feed the animals their breakfast, take them out to go potty, then head to work. I typically come straight home after work to let them out again.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced front yard where my dog loves to sit and watch the neighborhood, or run around with her friends. My dog stays crated when I'm not home. When there are other pets in the house visiting, I crate my dog for her meals and also when I won't have eyes on everyone (when I'm in the shower, etc.). I feed all of the animals separately to avoid any food guarding issues.

A typical day
I'm currently battling chronic illness myself, so it's easier for me to exercise the dogs by letting them play outside in the yard or take them to the dog park. I am also able to do short walks with them down my block, and as my condition improves I like to take them to walk at local parks or on hikes.
