NO BIG DOGS DAYCARE & BOARDING
Are you or someone you know looking for an experienced dog-loving caregiver for daycare or overnight care in Elk Grove, CA for dogs up to around 40 pounds? I have over 25 years of experience providing dog daycare and boarding and still love every minute with the dogs that come to visit (17 of those years included our own dog until she passed away June of 2024). I am the dog loving person you need to take care of your dog(s) when you are away from home. I will care for no more than 5 dogs up to around 40 pounds (prefer no bigger than a french bulldog or mini doodle) at any given time of the day, so each dog can get the individual attention they deserve. I treat all the dogs like part of our family during their stay, making sure they feel comfortable while away from their owners. I also have experience caring for dogs taking oral medications and I am Pet First Aid and CPR Certified. The dogs I take care of are my top daily priority. I work with the dogs on basic commands and any skills the owners have requested. During the day, besides making sure the dogs are fed and always have access to water, I like to take the dogs in my care on walks and play with them throughout the day. Owners receive at least one picture of their dog each day of their stay. I always make sure our gates are closed and have a lock on them to keep the dogs in the safe surroundings of the large backyard. I have a good variety of dog toys for your dog to choose from for us to play together. Our street is safe and quiet and has many side streets to explore and enjoy while on walks. I do my best to also keep to whatever routine your dog is used to at home. If you do not want your dog to be on our furniture, just let me know and I will keep them off of the furniture. I grew up always having a pet dog along with other types of animals in the house. I would always be the one to feed, walk and play the most with the family dog. Now in my adult years, my husband and I have had dogs and other small animals. I have helped many people besides friends and family that wanted to go on vacation but couldn't take their dog.

Schedule
I am available 24/7. Watching dogs is what I do every day of the week. I like to go walking in the neighborhood, so I take the dogs on walks with me unless the owner requests no walks.
