Having done pet therapy in hospitals, and realizing how essential for well-being and joy animals bring to a persons life I decided this was a perfect position for me. I have had the privilege of caring for many kinds of animals from owning a horse farm to caring for smaller animals each one different and unique needs. My daughter calls me the animal whisperer. I have a calm demeanor and I think animals sense that and innately feel comfortable with me and warm up quickly. I value the importance of a scheduled routine whether it’s distributing medications, playtime, walks and cuddles I am happy to follow whatever instructions you may have to ensure your pet is well taken care of. Although I travel somewhat, I am retired and am quite flexible. Please feel free to ask any questions and I look forward to helping you with your animal needs in the future.

I am open to hosting at my house on an individual basis. I am happy to stay at your house and care for them as well. I can do drop in visits or full stays. Following instructions is a specialty of mine and I value each individuals expectations of how they would like their pets taken care of.

Diane was an awesome overnight dog sitter for our little Maltese. Our dog is afraid of strangers so we invited Diane over a day early to introduce her to Jamie and show her how to feed Jamie her pill at meals. Jamie was comfortable in Diane’s arms after a short while and we knew we could go away for a day and not worry. It was a wonderful experience and we would hire Diane again. Now we just have to plan our next get away…..

If it hadn't been for the pictures of my kitty in the house during my trip, I would think no one had been inside the house for days. Missy was not hungry, emotionally needy, or starved for outside time upon my return. That can only mean all her needs were met in my absence. Overall a great first experience with both Diane and Rover.com.
