Love, Experience & Peace of Mind!

I can't remember a time in my life I was without my own pets. I now have my Aussiedoodle Porter, who is the best dog! He loves all other dogs and is very well socialized. Porter and I have lots of love, time and energy to share with your most precious pup. I've done national and international house and pet sitting for the last 4 years with all 5* reviews. I will only have 1 pet stay with us at a time, unless you have smaller dogs that come in a pair. and would devote my whole attention to your pet while they are with me. I have a great, safe back yard and a park nearby if you're interested in doggie day care or boarding. I'd be happy to share my references from my international pet sitting with you. A personal meet & greet before hiring me is not a problem. My goal is for you to feel confident you've made the right choice in choosing me! FYI, for the last 3 years I've blocked off my Rover calendar due to Covid and getting a new puppy. That's why you'll only see older reviews, but I'm currently accepting clients again!

Diane was absolutely wonderful! She went above and beyond to bond with, and spoil, our dog while we were away! Ozzy is on the timid side, but he immediately took to Diane and her dog, Porter. She had fantastic communication, including daily photo and video updates so we knew our pup was in great hands. Ozzy really enjoyed spending time with Porter; they became fast buds! We returned to a dog you could tell had a fun weekend. We couldn't be happier with Diane, and will be using her again for any future trips!

Diane Reedy has taken care of my German Shepherd Dog several times. She is a dog lover but has an excellent knowledge of dog behavior and discipline. She is compassionate and sincerely caring with my Liam but firm and can remain in an alpha mentality in her interactions. She has always given me timely updates -- especially if i'm gone on a longer trip, and even sends pictures and sometimes videos of his activities. If she is unable to take care of my pal i will consider changing my plans to her schedule. She is a caring, attentive, considerate dog caretaker.

I rarely leave long reviews, but this is definitely going to be one. All I can say is wow. My normal dog sitter canceled on me hours before I was leaving for a trip, so I came on Rover and found Diane! She messaged me back within minutes telling me that she’d love to meet my dog Leo and that she could accommodate my last minute request. Leo is a very high energy dog, and although he is very friendly and loving, he can be quite a bit to handle for someone not used to him. However, Diane did an absolutely phenomenal job with him. He had a huge yard to play in, and she even invited her friends dog over so that he could get some play time in during his short stay. She figured out exactly what Leo needed to thrive in a foreign environment, and provided exactly that. She sent me several photos of him throughout his two days with her, and he always looked absolutely elated and was clearly having a great time. Diane was an absolute LIFESAVER for me, and I will 100% be making her my first call whenever I need a sitter in the future. Thank you so much again Diane.

Diane has house/dog sat for me a number of times over the past two years. I have 2 dogs (120 pounds and 40 pounds). Along with the usual feeding - there was cuddle times and walking. I felt Diane had control and a connection with my dogs. They LOVE her. The house was always in better shape than when I left. Its a wonderful feeling to have someone I can trust to care for my dogs and take of my house as if it were her own. I would not hesitate to choose Diane as my next house/pet sitter.

Diane is such a warm and friendly person! Our cats Charlie and Felix instantly loved her as well as our puppers Bella. She made sure to stick to their feeding schedules and took Bella for tons of walks. She played with all of them and even got tons of snuggles! She was a great care taker for them and we would gladly have her do so again!

We have used Diane as a Pet/Housesitter twice. She has been outstanding. Our dogs love her and are completely spoiled with hugs while she is in our home. We have been out walking our dogs since our arrival home, and our neighbors are bragging about how special she is and about how well she took care of our dogs. Diane made sure that the house was clean, the sheets were washed, and she even had a quiche in the fridge waiting for our supper! I can't recommend her highly enough. Whether you are using Diane as a dog walker, or having your pets stay at her home, you'll be happy and content. Just like your pets!!

Non-smoking household
Has 1 dog

Safety, trust & environment

I have a large, safe, fenced in back yard with a dog door from my porch to the yard. For small dogs, I would be with them all the time in the yard to make sure of their safety. Living in the desert, you can't be too careful about predetory animals.

Pets

A typical day

Besides lots of cuddles and play at my home, I have a great park to walk to where there are often other dogs to socialize with. If you and your dog are comfortable, they are able to go off leash and chase and fetch balls and other toys. I walk there every day with or without a dog! I also bring my dog, Porter to the dog park daily, so that would be an option if you're comfortable with the dog park. We have a great group of people and dogs that we all know.

I like to know their general temperament, any health issues, vaccination history, do they pull on leash when taking a walk, whether they're friendly to other dogs, kids, etc. I've got lots of experience with larger breeds (labs, shepherds, pits and retrievers) as well as smaller breeds (spaniels, terriers, Dashounds, etc).
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
