Hi! I offer friendly, reliable, knowledgeable, loving pet care for many kinds of animals, backed by years of veterinary experience. I also carry comprehensive professional pet-sitting insurance for your peace of mind. Prior to starting "Teddy & Friends" Pet Care, I managed the Guide Dogs for the Blind Veterinary Financial Assistance Program, worked as a small animal veterinary tech, and managed two horse facilities. My personal pets have included dogs, cats, bunnies, parakeets, freshwater fish, and chickens. Currently I have a 4-year-old Great Pyrenees dog, who comes along with me on pet sits (I bring a pen for him, so he won't infringe on your pet's home territory too much). Please note there was a period when a technical glitch prevented me from receiving notifications from Rover, and from uploading photos through the app--but rest assured, if you message me, I will respond, and I always send photos, one way or another. :-) Unfortunately, I am not able to pet sit young puppies, or dogs who can't be left alone for a few hours in the afternoon while I'm walking dogs (unless your dog is able to come along with us)--however, I'm happy to do drop-in visits for those pups. My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering oral, skin, eye, and ear medications and giving injections (IM or SQ), as well as administering subcutaneous fluids. I can also trim nails, clean ears, and brush teeth. Thanks for viewing my profile!

Safety is always uppermost in my mind when taking care of animals, the specifics of which depend on the type of pet you have, the configuration of your home (for home care and walks), and your pet's individual personality and health needs. We can talk about any special precautions for your pet before your trip.

This was a first meet, we liked her, and we decided to engage Diane for a long 2 week twice daily set.
I have two beloved cats with separation and stranger anxiety. I get a little anxious too- when I have to leave them in someone else's care. :) Diane was wonderful!She responded quickly, communicated well, and her professionalism and easygoing nature helped ease my worries about leaving. During her visits with my cats, Diane's gentle yet thorough care ensured that they were safe and well cared for in my absence. She also shared notes and images after each visit. I would book her again and can highly recommend Diane!

I am beyond grateful Diane was available to check in on our cat and 2 bearded dragons over the weekend. She is very easy to talk with and responded quickly to messages. I felt our animal babies were in good hands.
Diane is a real find! I think she took better care of my dogs and cats than we do when we are home. They had a fantastic time with her and she even made some improvements to their training while we were away. I felt very confident knowing my pets were bring well cared for and she sent frequent updates snd photos so could see what they were up to. Thank you, Diane!
Diane was great. I felt very comfortable leaving my pets with her and enjoyed the updates. She was great with my GSD who is weary of strangers. She understands dog language and is great with cats too. I feel confident leaving my pets with Diane and may take more frequent vacations.

Schedule
My schedule is flexible, but typically on weekday afternoons I am out for 3-4 hours, walking dogs. I try to consolidate other walks and visits when possible.
