I work at the zoo part time so my schedule is pretty open and flexible. I mainly work shorter days. So your pet must be ok with being left alone up to 8 hours on my work days if I'm doing overnight care.

I engage and make sure they have adequate play time, snuggles, and treats. I make sure they have had bathroom breaks. And lots of pets and loves. I love sending picture updates to owners as well.. Its fun engaging and you get awesome pics of your pets along the way!
Information Diane M. would like to know about your pet
I would need to know food allergies, medical conditions such as seizures, gastric or stomach issues etc.. Medications and medication schedules.. Some animals dont like certain things like vacuums or noises.. So anything that triggers your pet especially for rescues is good info.. I want your pet to be stress free and happy
A typical day
Walks, play tug of war, snuggle time, i like kong toys because they are engaging.. Go to a dog park if they are dog friendly

Pet care experience
I work for the Oregon Zoo part time as my "day job" I have worked with animals and pets my entire life. I grew up on a ranch in Montana and worked for a local vet. I engage with your animals during my visits and walks. I treat pets like my family.. And love the bonds with people's pets I have created over the years. I have experience with a variety of species of animals!

I appreciated Diane’s flexibility. The power went out while I was out of town & she reassured me that my cat would still be taken care of. She was also willing to stay a little longer as my travel plans changed.
Diane was wonderful as always! Pictures and updates when she visited the kitties, and easy to communicate with!
Diane was wonderful! She sent pictures every evening and made sure my cats were comfortable. I couldn’t be happier!
Our dogs seemed to be happy and cared for well. However, she did not deliver on her promise of updates and photos every other day. Additionally, our house smelled like cigarette smoke, and she damaged some of our utensils.
