Your Doggie’s Vacation

Hello, my name is Diane. I’ve been caring for dogs for over 30 years. Born and raised in PhiladelphiaI I joined Rover in Scottsdale, first as someone needing their service and later as a sitter. I needed good, reliable care for Carmella (my Cocker Spaniel) in a home like environment while working as a flight attendant. On Rover I found a place where I could leave her and not worry about her missing out on belly rubs and hugs. I found a family that loves dogs as much as I loved Carmella. They allowed her on the sofa, let her sleep with their kids and showered her with love and affection. That home was the perfect place to leave my fur baby. Carmella, my beloved family member and best friend, regretfully, passed in 2021. Her passing left a hole in my soul the size of a crater. I don’t know when or if I will get another dog. For now, I get my “doggie hugs” from watching other people’s dogs on Rover. This makes my 8th year with Rover as a sitter, watching well over 100 dogs. My husband and I are retired. Together we treat your dog like part of our family. Your can freely move about the house and is allowed on the furniture. Our back yard is fenced with a pool and an area for the dogs to play. The space works well for small to medium-size dogs with low to medium energy level (perfect for senior dogs). If your dog is current with shots, neutered or spayed, house trained and gets along well with other dogs, your dog is welcomed to vacation with us in our home. Let’s set up a meet and greet.

Diane took care of my dog for two weeks and I could not have been more happy with her communication and overall care. She provided daily updates and pictures to provide the peace of mind that my dog was not only doing fine but was enjoying his time at Diane’s house. This was my first time using Rover and I’m pretty sure my dog is ready for me to go on another trip so that he can go to Diane’s house again.

Diane provided wonderful care for our two small doggies during an over weeklong stay. Even though this was a first time boarding with her, Diane did an excellent job getting to know our dogs and communicating to us about their various experiences while there, making sure that we were comfortable knowing they were being well cared for. Thank you!

It was easy to tell that our pup enjoyed her vacation as much as we enjoyed ours. So grateful she was surrounded by well behaved playmates in a comfortable safe home. We loved getting pictures that put our hearts at ease while we missed her. Thank you!

This was our first booking with Diane. She took such wonderful loving care of my fur babies! One of my fur baby is very senior, who required a significant amount of TLC. Diane figured out what his needs were when he got fussy and got him to feel comfortable during his stay!

Both my husband and I are retired. Watching dogs is our full time responsibility. Dogs in my care will always have someone present especially when outside. Our day starts at 6:00am From that time the dogs are taken out every two hours to play, poop and pee. The time outside ranges from 5 - 30 minutes depending on the weather . Dogs are feed twice a day 8am and 4pm. We cuddle and watch TV with the dogs in the evening before putting them down to sleep between 8 - 10pm
