Pet care experience
As someone who isn’t yet in a place to have a dog of my own, I’ve looked for any reason to be around them! I’ve been caring for and walking dogs at a local shelter for the last three years for that very reason. I’d be thrilled to help care for your dog too :)

Diane took exemplary care of my old, anxious, special needs cattle dog. It’s very hard for me to leave her with anyone because she’s got some “quirks” and needs someone knowledgeable and gently. My go-to sitter! I wanted my dog to meet and be more comfortable with strangers. After walks with Diane, teddy always comes back happy and unsurprisingly so. Diane really makes sure that teddy gets a nice, long walk and shares thoughtful notes about the walk afterwards. She always shares multiple pictures from the walk and my Teddy always looks happy in them :)
Teddy usually needs a lot of time to warm up to people but he took to Diane immediately! He looked so happy in the photos and, needless to say, I am one proud, satisfied dog mom. I needed someone to be with Teddy on short notice and Diane was ready to go within 15 minutes. We’ve found our new go-to person!

Diane has an incredible patience and consistency when she interacts with Jax. He is so comfortable with her, and loves walking around/exploring the neighborhood with her. She truly is a natural!

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors that I can account for! I’ll work to tailor their walk accordingly, be it by taking quieter routes without other animals on the street, spending more time with them in spacious parks vs. cramped sidewalks, and whatever else you’d like.

I love to help dogs get stimulated mentally and physically. We’ll check out all the exciting smells in the neighborhood, visit the local parks and greenery, and more.

I work full-time, but I’m available to take your dog out for walks on weekday afternoons/evenings and most of the day on weekends as well.
