It's been a great experience to have dogs around and we are very close to the amazing Shaker dog park where they can run, meet other dog friends, and get lots of energy out. We may be getting a dog of our own soon, but for the time being there are no other pets in the apartment.

Dogs staying with us receive at least 2 walks a day. Dogs who are staying during the work week should be comfortable staying alone for 8 hours, though we occasionally work from home. We allow dogs on the furniture, but are happy to enforce no furniture rules if that's the case in your home.

A couple other things to note: -We consider puppies as those under 2 years of age and unfortunately can only take dogs older than 2. -As we are in an attached home, we can't take dogs that like to bark a lot or bark while owners are away out of respect for our neighbors. -If you are requesting a stay during a workday, your dog should be comfortable being left alone for 8 hours. Please let me know if you’d like to schedule a meet-and-greet! We do require a meet and greet before a short stay (1-4 days) and request an overnight stay before longer visits.
A typical day
Typical stays in our apartment have included after-work walks, trips to farmer's markets, walks on the nearby Rail Trail, and whatever other outdoor activities may interest your dog. If your older dog is more used to lounging with us inside in the AC, that's fine too! We look forward to meeting you and your dog!
