Animals are the Best!!
I am always amazed at how animals trust us humans. In my lifetime I have had the opportunity to be an animal parent to so many dogs and cats, but also horses, bunnies, and even sheep. I've raised two sheltie puppies, two German shepherd puppies, and have witnessed the birth of puppies and kittens. I have been fortunate to have had so many rescue fur babies in my lifetime. I've been a foster for Everett animal shelter as well as volunteered on site to walk the dogs where they taught the volunteers how to do simple training to help the dogs find forever homes quicker. I currently foster for Noah. At this time I share my home with my husband, a rescue red heeler mix, and an older rescue kitty who are accustomed to sharing their space with other critters. I am an avid walker and hiker and love the company of dogs while I do it. I have cared for my own medically fragile animals, cat that is diabetic and dog with seizures. I can provide a safe home environment for your fur babies while you are gone providing plenty of exercise and social interaction. I am fortunate to be retired and now I can have a purpose doing something I thoroughly enjoy.

Diana is the best! From the moment our dog, Olive, met her, we felt an immediate ease with with leaving her with her for a week. We were nervous about being gone as we'd never been away from her for that long before. Olive just seemed to thrive in Diana's care. She sent us daily photos, videos and updates and we were able to actually relax and enjoy our vacation, knowing she was in good hands. We will absolutely have Diana care for her again and would recommend her to everyone! She will care for your fur babies as she would for her own, and that's the most anyone could ask for.
Diana is our go-to. My dogs are bark-y and complicated and they adore her. She knows dog behavior, takes SUCH good care of them, and I swear our house was cleaner when we came back than when we left. Would recommend to anyone without hesitation.
Diana goes above and beyond and is so committed to our dogs' comfort and happiness. We do not have the easiest dogs and she handles them like a pro. 100000% recommend! She gives us absolute peace of mind when we're out of town.
Diana was amazing. My dogs can be a little complicated and are very chaotic and bark-y with strangers and we were heading on an international trip so I was very nervous about finding someone who could handle them. She wasn't put off by their chaos and won them over quickly, communicated with me regularly, and took amazing care of our home. She gave me such peace of mind on our trip. I would 100% book again. Great communication and care!
Truly, I have never had someone love my fur baby as much as we do but we wholeheartedly believe she loves our pup nearly as much as we do! She kept our baby active with long walks and upon our return from over a week away, both our dog and house were spotless! 11/10 would recommend and we have every intention of working with Diana again.

Schedule
Because I'm retired my day is wide open. If am housesitting I would spend most of the day hanging with the pets I'm caring for. I do take time to walk my own dog and have dinner with my husband.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard, which I would never leave your pet unattended in. I have kennels for the dogs that use them and a special couch they can share with me. A regular walk, sometimes twice daily will be included.

A typical day
I will take your dog for a walk a minimum of twice a day, but usually more. Sometimes we may even do a hike if your dog is up to it. I walk my own dog a minimum of an hour a day, but usually try for two hours or more. If your dog is older or not able to walk as far, I will modify schedule
