Having recently been laid off from my FT job working on maternal and infant nutrition programs due to the Executive Order freezing foreign aid, I have very flexible availability Sunday through Saturday from 8am-8pm.

Please let me know if your dog has any behavioral issues such as leash reactivity. I have worked extensively with trainers (positive reinforcement only) and a vet behaviorist for my own dog's reactivity issues and am comfortable caring for similar dogs.
A typical day
Animals are individuals with distinct personalities, so I believe in tailoring the type of interaction and activities we do to each dog. Whether a mellow dog who just wants a relaxed potty break and affection, or a rowdy pup who needs lots of play time, mental enrichment, or a long sniffari walk, I'm happy to provide what is best for their specific needs and temperament.

Hello! Since I was a child I've been a huge lover of animals. I have my own 6-year-old boxer mix who is a sweetheart but a handful (leash reactive to other dogs) and volunteered as a dog walker for the DC Humane Rescue Alliance for six months in 2023, so I have a lot of experience handling dogs with a variety of temperaments and personalities. I currently have wide-open availability after being recently furloughed from my full-time job due to the Executive Order freezing foreign aid. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry babes!

Diana was absolutely amazing, and we truly can’t thank her enough! She took such wonderful care of my parents’ 14-year-old Morkie while they were away. When their return flight was unexpectedly cancelled due to a blizzard, we were in a real bind — but Diana stepped up without hesitation and extended her stay for an additional three days. Her flexibility and calm, can-do attitude made a very stressful situation so much easier for all of us. Not only did she make sure our sweet senior pup was comfortable, loved, and well cared for, but she also went above and beyond by helping us shovel snow during the storm. That level of kindness and initiative is rare. We felt completely at ease knowing our dog — and even our home — were in such capable and caring hands. I would highly recommend Diana to anyone looking for someone dependable, compassionate, and truly exceptional!
Diana was amazing! She was so good with Maizy and took great care of her and made sure she was spoiled!
There is no one who will take better care of your pet in your absence than Diana. She has cared for my dog for as long as 10 days at a time spanning a few years and I always have full faith in the care he’s received. I know that not only are his basic physical needs being attended to but that he’s being loved by Diana as if he were her own dog. I highly recommend Diana for all your pet care needs.
Diana is simply the best. She's known as Auntie Diana around here, and she's one of my dog's most favorites. I had every confidence that Diana was truly caring for my dog like she was her own. If you're looking for someone to truly enjoy your pet while you're away or someone who will walk your dog with delight and patience - look no further. I can't think of anyone I'd trust more with my sweet pup than Auntie Diana.
