Loving home & large fenced yard!
Hey there! We are Jesse and Diana and we live in the heart of Cary with our teenage daughter, 9 year old black lab mix Delta, 6 year old whippet Skadi, and 4 year old chihuahua Pepita. We also have two cats, Steve and Max who are 12 and 8 and are great with all dogs. Sometimes I think Max is more of a dog than a cat! Our dogs are good girls (spayed) and absolutely love to play! We have about a half acre fenced back yard that they can run freely in to get out all their zoomies. Both of our dogs are fully vaccinated and on flea & tick medication. We have had dogs all our lives and they have always been an important part of our family. We have experience with training certified therapy dogs as well. Our golden retriever, Molly was actively involved in working with Alzheimer's and dementia patients as a certified therapy dog. She passed away last year at 14 years old. She was a good girl. We understand all dogs have different needs and we will be extremely accommodating. Additionally, we work from home so your dog would never have to be alone. Diana and Jesse did an amazing job watching my anxious rescue dog. They even watched her during thunderstorms (a stressful event for my dog) and she did not carry any anxiety forward from the storm! I could not be more pleased with how well they took care of June Bug! :)
Diana and Jesse took care of our dog when we were away. They constantly kept me updated and shared pictures. Dexter is usually a shy and introvert dog but they made him super comfortable. He made friends there. He looked happy with Diana and Jesse. We were at peace knowing that Diana and Jesse are there to look after our dog.
Diane & Jesse are wonderful caretakers for our 3yr old bichappo!! Winnie had such a great time staying with them, enjoyed the activity and all the loves!
Diana & Jesse took such great care of our boys! They were so great about introducing our dogs to their pets safely, making sure we were comfortable, and keeping us posted with regular updates during our trip. Their pets are super sweet and playful as well. I could tell our boys had so much fun and can’t wait to go back!
In our area there are dozens of commercial buildings with teams of people ready to care for your pet. I'm sure many are very successful businesses. However, when one needs to find someone passionate about animals to care for their beloved pet, this website is the best place. Diana and Jesse are clearly animal lovers. They have multiple pets and they have designed their home around their pets and pets they care for, including a large, fenced back yard. Spend five minutes with them and their passion and love for animals is obvious. We felt very comfortable leaving our dog with Diana and Jesse. While with Diana and Jesse, our dog had a great time. He was well cared for and returned home happy and healthy. Diana and Jesse, respond quickly to messages, share pictures on a regular basis and adapted to our pet's needs. Their pets are very accommodating of new animals as well. Our dog will be back under the care of Diana and Jesse the next time we travel. I suggest you go meet Diana and Jesse as well.

Schedule
We work from home, which gives us the time to be here for your pup! We also try to be very flexible with pickup and dropoff times to make it as convenient as possible.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a completely fenced backyard (approx. 1/2 acre), which gives the dogs the space to run, play, and to just burn energy in a safe environment! They are never alone and always supervised when playing in the backyard.
Pets
A typical day
Throughout the day, we can take your dog for a walk and allow them time to just run in the backyard. Everything they'll need is right here in our home. And if they're up for it, we can take them for a run/walk on the greenway.

- We require all pups to be spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccines, housebroken, and on flea/tick medication. We ask that you provide the following items to make your pups stay as comfortable as possible: 1. Food with instructions on amounts/schedule 2. Leash and collar or harness 3. Comfort items if your pup needs them (bed, blanket and toys) *We only crate your dog if that is something that is normally done in your home or if requested. We like to try and keep things consistent with how things are done in your home. *After an overnight stay, if pickup is after 12:00pm, we charge a daycare rate for that day.
