Hi! My legal name is Diana, but I prefer to go by Joey. I grew up with pets of all kinds, and have been pet-sitting for over ten years. I began in my neighborhood when I was in middle school, and over the years, I became well-acquainted with my neighbors and their pets. Several continue to hire me to this day. I have experience with dogs, cats, and many exotic species. I'm particularly fond of reptiles and have a leopard gecko. I am patient and calm, so elderly and shy animals tend to do well with me. Respecting an animal's boundaries (while ensuring they are properly taken care of) is very important to me. Most recently, I worked with Pet Butler and received over twenty 5-star reviews while employed by them.

Safety, trust & environment
I offer drop-in visits and house-sitting at my client's home. I am very detail-oriented and read instructions before each job, regularly referencing them while getting to know the routine. Safety is very important to me, so for any pet visit, there are some basic protocols I follow. I do not use retractable leashes and keep a spare in my car in case a client does not have a standard leash.

I was concerned because our two little Yorkies are 14+ years old and have never spent much time outside our family. I was also concerned because one of our Yorkies is in rather advanced stages of dementia, so she does a lot of pacing in the evening, has a sporadic appetite, and often needs some help getting back in from pottying in the yard. Diana was absolutely wonderful with them! She asked lots of great questions and took detailed notes before the visit and provided daily updates with photos. My little guys warmed up to her quickly! She also did lots of little things that were completely unexpected, including cleaning and changing the (human) bedding so I could come home after a weeklong trip and collapse in my own bed, bringing the garbage cans in from the street, feeding the birds and squirrels, and leaving the house exactly as I'd left it. I'm sure she did even more! I will definitely hire Diana again and strongly recommend her.

Excellent pet and house sitter! If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would! Completely satisfied and look forward to employing this sitter again! Communication was amazing, texted updates once per day on our pet! House care amazing, even offered to water my plants — so appreciated! Our cat could not have been happier or more cared for!
Joey did a great job with Thor! Thor looked very relaxed in all the photos Joey provided and he also was nice and calm when I got back home. Will be booking Joey again!

Diana stayed at my house while I was out of town. Falcon was happy and well cared for and the house was clean. She kept me updated and sent great pictures. She is responsible and trust worthy. .

Schedule
I do freelance work from home and make my own schedule, so I can accommodate my clients easily. When house-sitting, I spend the majority of my time in the client's home, prioritizing that pet's schedule while doing other drop-in visits during the day if possible.
