I will spend most of my time in your house with your pet! We will go on walks as often as requested by you/your pet, and there will be plenty of play and pets. When I leave it will be for no more than 4 hours at a time. I can crate your dog if that is what they are used to or I can leave them loose in the house if that is preferred.

Information Diana G. would like to know about your pet

Have they been away from you before? How have they handled that in the past? Do they have any anxious habits I should be watching out for? Do they have a specific way of letting you know they need to go potty? Are they dog/people aggressive, on walks or other situations?

A typical day

I only recently moved to this area so I'm still learning which parks i like to go to with pets.. recommendations are always welcome! I also have fun indoor doggie games to keep their brain stimulated.

Pet care experience

With me, the dogs always come first. I will do everything in my power to make sure your dog is happy, healthy, and comfortable. I have worked at a specialty pet store; with pet groomers; and at a doggy day care with dogs of all sizes. I have experience training puppies and with dogs with special needs and/or health issues. I've been working with dogs for most of my life and will put those skills and knowledge to work for you and your pet. I know how to handle various allergies and food issues and have experience with all temperaments, sizes, and ages. I've taken care of up to 5 dogs at once, and have experience with everything from Chihuahuas to Irish Mastiffs, rambunctious puppies to seniors with hip and sight issues. If your dog is comforted by the presence of another dog, I can bring my dog, Barney, over to accompany us on walks and to play. I'd be happy to answer any and all questions you may have for me! I am fully vaccinated.

I would not recommend Diana to anyone. I left very clear written care instructions for my anxious, high energy dog, including exercise, routine, and communication expectations. These instructions were not followed. My dog did not receive daily walks during the booking. She was only given a 14 minute walk on day 4 and a 17 minute walk on the final day of a 5 day stay, despite written instructions for at least one 30 minute walk per day. My dog’s activity level was far below normal, resulting in significant under stimulation. Although I was told she was “eating fine,” she was not eating normally which for my dog is directly tied to lack of exercise. Communication was extremely poor. I did not receive updates or photos as requested and repeatedly had to ask for confirmation of basic care. I gave up asking after the first few days because nothing was changing. My indoor cameras were unplugged, moved, and blocked without my knowledge on more than one occasion and were only plugged back in after I noticed and asked. I also noticed long periods where the sitter was away from the house (6 hours at a time). There were multiple times when Diana returned and additional hours passed without engagement with my dog. During this time, my dog remained isolated upstairs, showed withdrawal and disengagement, refused food when fed without prior exercise, and did not interact. The same happened even when she had been in my home for awhile as well. The sitter also helped herself to items from my pantry and fridge without prior discussion or consent, which added to my discomfort during the booking. When I returned home, I found my house was left in poor condition. There were dirty dishes left in the sink, lights left on throughout the house (including in the bathroom shower), spills left uncleaned in the fridge and microwave, blankets left thrown on the couch, the bed left unmade, and personal intimate clothing left behind in the bedroom Diana was staying in. This further reflected a lack of care and professionalism. The level of care provided did not align with the services described on the sitter’s profile or the care instructions provided prior to the booking that she agreed to. Because of the lack of communication, routine, and honesty, I felt the need to monitor the situation throughout my entire trip to ensure my dog’s basic needs were being met; which they still weren’t. This was extremely draining and prevented me from enjoying my time away. I would never book with Diana again and don’t recommend anyone book with her.

Diana was wonderful. She was very quick to responding to me, and was very sweet to my dog Stella. I was away for a week, and I don’t leave for that long a lot, but Diana gave me peace of mind while I was away. I would definitely recommend.

Diana did a wonderful job house sitting our 3 doxies over the 4th of July holiday weekend!! I asked if she could water my flowers too, since it was so hot out. They were all thriving when we returned. Knowing my girls had someone to snuggle with, especially with the neighborhood fireworks going off, sure was comforting. Wouldn’t hesitate to call on Diana again in the future! Definitely would recommend her.
