Work around what the pet owners ask of me. My home life usually comes in second. I also make my appointments around and work with the clients when I have an appointment.

I do not have pet owners bring their pets nor do I board any pets at my house. Family doesn't like other pets here at our house.
Information Diana D. would like to know about your pet
Does your pooch jump fences? What are their favorite toys? I don’t have any breed preferences, but I prefer to care for dogs under 60 pounds.
A typical day
When I greet a new pup, I’ll give them a gentle hug and use all kinds of happy voices. Then I’ll give them some scratches behind their ears and pet them. Greeting dogs with positivity and excitement shows them that I’m happy to see them. If they seem unsure about me, I’ll let them come to me at their own pace and might offer a treat once they get a little more comfortable. When I drop in, we’ll take walks around the neighborhood or a nearby park. As a retiree, I don’t have a schedule that interferes with dog walking. I do whatever my human clients ask of me. Also, I bring cleaning supplies with me in case the pet has an accident in the house. I’ll love on your fur baby as if they are my own!

Pet care experience
I’m Diana, and I’ve been a dog owner for the last 20 years. When one pup passes away, I always get another one. All of my fur babies received AKC-approved obedience training. Also, each of them competed in AKC shows, and one got first place. I currently have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel as well as two beloved rescue cats. I haven’t worked with canines in a professional capacity outside of pet sitting, but having owned six pups, I have plenty of experience to provide optimal care. I’d love to stop by your home and take your pooch out for a walk or some playtime. Because of the pets I currently have, I’m not looking to have additional furry guests in my home at this time, but if that changes in the future, I have tons of doggie toys and a large backyard that’s perfect for running around. I’m a loving, caring, and loyal pet sitter. I truly care about what happens to the dogs in my care. I’m always on time when I pick them up for their walks. I’m retired and don’t work outside of Rover, so my availability is open and flexible.
Reviews

Diana was great at communicating throughout my whole time away! I appreciated her level of detail and her enthusiasm to care for my cat (despite my cat’s unfriendliness). She was also very accommodating when I needed to modify the booking not once but twice because of travel delays. I highly recommend Diana- so kind and so dedicated!

Diana came to my rescue for a last minute walking assignment for Geta. 0.9 miles..greatly appreciated her accommodating my schedule

Required bookings through text message instead of through the app. Payments had to be made via cash instead of through the app.

Diana has checked in on our dog on several occasions. We appreciate the great job she does for us.
