HOME DURING DAY! Vet Asst Degree!

Hi! Quick facts: -Myself or my husband are almost ALWAYS home during the day and at night so your doggie will always be in good hands at our house. - I am a certified Veterinary Assistant (yup, I can send you a copy of my degree). Although I don't work in that field any longer, I am still able to give medications, run fluids, give insulin, provide senior care at a higher level, and more. I am willing to accept care of a fur baby with medical needs. I have worked in both private veterinary practice and in the rescue field. -Our home has a very large fenced area so there is lots of room to play, exercise, explore, and chase balls! The dogs love to smell around the backyard and chase lizards. It is nestled between 2 horse farms. The dogs and horses enjoy watching each other from afar (not close enough for any contact though)! Our neighborhood is on a private street nestled behind Tramanto in Desert Hills. -We love them all, big and small! Giant, large, medium, small, and toy breeds are all welcome! -We want your dog to just get to be a dog here! Whether it is lounging on the patio watching nature and listening to the horses and birds, snuggling with us on the couch, or running full speed chasing the ball outside, our goal is always the same - for your doggie to enjoy life and go home completely exhausted after a fun visit! Thank you for reading about us! I look forward to meeting you!

Schedule

Doggies are our life! We work from home so we are almost always in the house with your doggie. This allows us to play with them throughout the day and ensure all of their needs are met. They usually go out for potty and supervised play time about once per hour. Frequently, the dogs become our work buddies, cuddling up against us on the couch while we work. What better work environment could you ask for?!

Safety, trust & environment

My previous career was in 911 Police/Fire/EMS dispatch . My husband and I were previously foster parents (for human kids) so we have passed fingerprint checks, background checks, psychological reviews and polygraph testing. You can trust us and our home!

Pets

A typical day

Cuddling & Playing are the major themes in our home while your doggie is visiting! The entire family enjoys throwing the ball, cuddling on the couch with the doggies watching Netflix, and the kids playing video games with the doggies next to them. If we're cooking in the kitchen, the doggies are usually close by waiting for crumbs to fall. If the kids are chasing each other down the hall, the dogs get in on the action, too! Basically, the dogs live our lives with us. It is so fun!

It is important for us to complete a meet n greet to ensure we are the right fit for your doggie and he/she feels comfortable here. We will introduce your doggie to our dog. He is used to many different size dogs with different energy levels and personalities. How your dog interacts with our dog will tell us a lot about what their needs will be while they are here and how we can best support them during their stay. We typically help socialize your doggie with the other doggies (while supervised), as well as expose them to children and people who are well versed in different doggie breeds and personalities. We want your doggie to fit into our pack and enjoy their time here! We have had dogs who love coming to our house so much, they literally jump out of the car window they are so excited! It's very important to us that your doggie loves us as much as we love your doggie!
