Information Diamond C. would like to know about your pet

I would love to know how they handle other dogs, people and kids, so I can be caution on our walks. Also any medications or triggers they may have that I need to watch out for. What they like and do not like when interacting with new people, as well as their eating schedule and if they do not eat what you would like me to do to entice them to eat while your away.

A typical day

I have worked in facilities for dog boarding for 4 years and have learned many different ways to keep a dog active. I would play fetch, keep away, tag, and even cuddle if the pet prefers it. I also have my own supply of toys and treats I can bring with me if need be. For walks, I would fine a nice trail to go along to make sure they get enough exercise and not have to be bother by car passing or too many people in the area.

Caring for animals is my life!!

Pet care experience

I have handled and cared for almost all breeds of cats and dogs, of all behaviors for 4yrs. Caring for pets is my dream job! I am currently working at a pet resort part time and in school, but have multiple days off for room to care for your babies! I have experience on how to handle any behavioral issues and to make a pet more comfortable, as well as administering medications if need be.

As her mom I can attest that Diamond has been an animal lover since she was a toddler. I recall when she was around 4 or 5 years old she saw an ASPCA commercial on TV. It made her very emotional to know there are animals being mistreated in this world. She made me promise to put the number of the ASPCA in my phone. One day soon after that she tested me. We were driving and we saw a straw dog. She asked me to take my phone out and call the ASPCA to let them know about the stray dog. I showed her that the number was in my contacts but had to explain that was not who you call for stray or lost animals. That was almost 20 years ago and to this day the ASPCA is still in my contacts list. Another story comes to mind. When she was a sophomore or junior in high school, we were grocery shopping in an international food store and we were in the meat department. She saw a cow's heart was for sale. She lost it in the store. She began crying and asking (loudly) why his heart? Why would they eat the heart? I tried to calm her down and explain to her that there are a lot of people who eat almost every part of some animals. She could understand and accept that people ate meat but she could not and would not accept eating an animals heart. After that it was close to a year before she would eat a piece of meat. These are just two examples of the level of love Diamond has for animals. She is such a sweet, kind hearted, genuine soul. You would definitely have someone who would have your animal's best interest in mind and heart at all times!

Diamond is the best pet sitter and animal lover I’ve ever witnessed. She treats each pet like her precious child whether it’s hers or someone else’s. I’ve used her time and time again for my own; I wouldn’t recommend anyone else!

I’ve never used a dog sitter before and was extremely nervous to leave my little family members in the hands of someone else. After finding Diamond I was very pleased to know her years of experience in Animal Care. It brought my anxiety down to know they were in the hands of somebody who knew what they were doing. While on my trip across country she consistently updated me with pictures, always responded promptly if I had questions and gave me peace of mind. I would recommend her services and will continue to use her in the future.
