I’m Dexter. I’ve owned dogs and cats for 26 years (my whole life), 4 different dogs and 4 different cats. I’ve trained them, spoiled them, and loved them all. I cared for them in times of good health and illness until the very end. I currently live with my family, and we have 2 golden doodles who are 5 and 6 years old. We also have 1 elderly cat that is kept in a separate area of the house. I am currently in between jobs and studying for licensing exams in the financial services industry. I don’t have any experience taking care of animals as an occupation, however, I’ve owned and taken care of pets my whole life and have a deep love for all animals. I’ve spent a significant amount of time taking care of my two golden doodles over the past 5-6 years. I also currently frequently take care of my girlfriend’s 2 year old Chocolate lab, Charlie (featured in my profile photo). All of my animals are friendly and trained, but I am happy to keep them separated if you prefer. I look forward to helping you free up your schedule and taking care of your furry friends as if they were my own. Will follow any and all instructions provided! :)

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard at my home. I feel most comfortable with that environment for the safety of pets. I typically don’t take my eyes off my dogs or other pets unless I’ve put them in kennels with food, Kong and/or treat. I believe regular crate time is healthy but not always necessary if pets are well behaved. This may vary on a case by case basis.
Ratings and reviews
I couldn’t ask for a better person to watch my dog. He is caring, reliable, and treats my dog like she’s his own. I always feel completely comfortable knowing she’s in his care, and she absolutely loves spending time with him!
Dexter often cares for our two doodles and my daughter’s special needs cat. He also cares for his girlfriend’s chocolate lab. Dexter is dependable, reliable and honest. The animals love him. Schedule
I’m currently looking for full-time work but not in any hurry because I am looking for a long term career job. I spend a lot of time at home, whether I’m taking care of my animals, doing research or making food. I typically run errands and go to the gym during the day for about 2-3 hours. I have several kennels and crates in my house and plenty of toys to keep pets distracted and safe.
