Couple who love dogs
Both Kayleigh and I have grown up with dogs including Labradors and Jack Russels. The past 8 years we've dog sat for our friends and family including Huskies, German Shepherds, Schnauzers, more Labradors and others. We live in a house with a fenced in back yard, next to a dog park and hike Kenna regularly so your fur baby will have plenty of opportunity to burn energy.

Dewi and Kayleigh were absolutely fantastic with Cedar. From the moment he arrived, it was clear they were experienced and confident dog handlers, especially with Jack Russell Terriers. Their previous experience with JRTs really showed, and that gave me a lot of peace of mind. Cedar is a high-energy adolescent, and they handled him incredibly well. They kept him engaged, active, and clearly understood his needs, personality, and quirks. I really appreciated the regular updates, photos, and thoughtful communication throughout, it made it easy to relax knowing he was in such good hands. They were attentive, proactive, and handled a minor paw issue calmly and appropriately, keeping me informed the entire time. It’s obvious they genuinely care about the dogs they look after. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again. Highly recommend to anyone, especially if you have a high-energy pup like a JRT!

I have an extremely nervous dog who is basically terrified of everything other than me. Dewi and Kayleigh were so sweet and patient with him, making sure to let me give them some background. He did so much better than I would have expected given his history. You can tell these two love dogs and are kind compassionate people willing to accommodate. I feel comfortable leaving my dog with them, which is a very big deal.
Dewi and Kayleigh were excellent yet again. They take amazing care of my dog and I always appreciate the pictures and updates I get along the way. Will continue to use them as my primary sitter!

Schedule
My wife and I work shifts with the potential to work from home, so although we can't guarantee availability every week, its likely that we can dog sit everyday of the week, we just need advance notice.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced yard to allow the dogs to play and go to the toilet. We also live next to a dog park so they will be able to socialize with other dogs and have plenty of opportunity to burn energy. Happy to send updates on how the dog is settling in.
A typical day
Your fur baby will be taken on ample walks in order to tire them out and we've accumulated toys over the years for them to play with. There are also a number of trails in our neighbourhood to allow them to sniff and get mentally fatigued.
