I would not recommend Devynn for house sitting based on my experience from this weekend. I hired Devynn for pet sitting for my three dogs following a meet-and-greet where I clearly explained their care requirements. I told her she did not need to stay overnight, but the dogs needed to be let out approximately every four hours with some leniency, with the first morning let-out between 6:00–7:00 AM, their feeding instructions followed, and the final let-out between 10:00–11:00 PM. These expectations were also communicated in writing prior to the acceptance of the booking. There was no misunderstanding about the basic care instructions. The booking was scheduled to begin Friday evening. Devynn asked to arrive later than originally scheduled, and I agreed since we had left town at 6:30 pm. According to my Ring camera footage, she arrived at 9:07 PM and left at 9:22 PM, spending approximately 15 minutes at the house. She did not return for the additional let-out that was expected between 10:00–11:00 PM. The following morning, she did not arrive during the agreed-upon 6:00–7:00 AM window. My Ring footage shows that she arrived at approximately 8:21 AM and left at 8:25 AM—only four minutes was provided to my dogs to be let out to potty and get adequate relief from their kennels. At that point, my three dogs had been confined in their kennels for more than 11 hours and were given only four minutes outside Devynn returned at approximately 11:42 AM and left at 11:53 AM, providing another 11-minute visit. She later returned at approximately 6:35 PM and left at 6:39 PM, spending another four minutes with the dogs. Based on the recorded arrival and departure times, my dogs were outside of their kennels for approximately 30 minutes over a 27.5-hour period while Devynn was responsible for their care. When we became concerned and contacted her around 7:45 PM to reiterate the agreed-upon care requirements, the expectations still were not met. Instead, we received multiple explanations for why she had not been at the house. If she was unable to complete the booking, the appropriate response would have been to notify us and Rover immediately so alternative care could be arranged. She later stated that she did not understand the expectations. However, those expectations were clearly communicated in our written Rover conversation before the booking was accepted in writing and again during our meet and greet. Because we were out of town and concerned about the dogs, we ultimately had to involve friends who were still in town to provide care. When they arrived, they were unable to enter the house because Devynn had taken the house key with her. We asked her to return the key so our friends could access the home. She did not return it until nearly 10:00 PM. During this situation, I also checked my Ring Live camera and could hear my dogs howling inside the house. It was extremely upsetting to hear them distressed while we were away and relying on the person we had hired to care for them. This review is based on my firsthand experience, the written booking instructions, and Ring camera footage documenting the sitter's arrival and departure times. The service I paid for was not provided as agreed, and I ultimately had to arrange additional care for my dogs. I would not hire Devynn again or recommend her to other pet owners. When someone accepts responsibility for another person's animals, the agreed-upon care needs to be provided consistently and reliably.

Devynn was very communicative and took great care of our 2 pups. Will definitely be booking with her again :)
