I have a large fenced in yard with ample space for your pet and I to play and run around in. My shih-poo can keep your four-legged friend company or can be caged up, whichever you and your pet are comfortable with. I have a variety of dog treats that your pup is welcome to as well.

A typical day
I want to get to know your pet and tend to their wants and needs! If your pup is high energy and loves to be active we can go for a jog and play fetch in the yard or we can lounge and take in lots of belly rubs and ear scratches if your pup is more chill.

Pet care experience
Growing up in a household where I wasn’t allowed to have a pet of my own, I searched for every chance to spend time with furry friends. I spent a lot of time at neighbors’ and friends’ houses playing with and pet-sitting their dogs, studying a variety of dog breeds, and watching pet shows like “Too Cute” on Animal Planet. In middle school I volunteered at the animal shelter and in high school I was exposed to many therapy dogs at the hospital. Finally, 7 years ago I got a shih-poo of my own and it’s been such a joy getting to spoil her rotten. Dogs bring us so much light, love, and companionship so they deserve to be treated with utmost care and pampered to their heart’s content! I will make sure your precious pet gets the attention it needs so that you can live your life care free and they can live theirs cared for!

DeVonna did a great job with our pups! She was timely and communicated well. We did a meet and greet prior to our drop in and both dogs loved her, she was also very accommodating in working out a 2 hour stay which was best for our schedule that day. We will be booking again!
As DeVonna’s mom, I’ve had the privilege pleasure of witnessing her natural rapport with pets in how she efficiently helps her Dad and I care for our 7 year old Shih Poo Girl, NuNu! DeVonna’s extensive knowledge of the scientific and character aspects of dogs in particular as well as many other animals is quite impressive, and has served to ease my mind, especially as a first time pet owner!! DeVonna’s therapeutic instinct and loving way with dogs and provides great comfort and her high respect for animal life in general can easily make DeVonna considered to be a dog/animal whisperer! Our nickname for her is even Ladybug!! Certainly DeVonna is hands down an ideal pet caregiver!!!
