I actually have a puppy as of May 31, 2026! She is a Labrador mix named Ditto, and she is our world. Her days include plenty of play, training, and socialization. I’m still doing freelance training work on the side, as well as working with Rover, but have just moved to Oregon as of February 2026 and am still getting my bearings. I hope to get a full-time job working with dogs soon!

Information Devon W. would like to know about your pet

Any breed is okay, but I would like to know what to expect. Of course, any necessary medications that I might need to administer and how to do so will be required as well.

A typical day

I love dog play! When training, I typically give the dogs breaks of 5-10 minutes for every 15 minutes of training work. During these breaks, the dog gets to decide on the activity! We can play, go outside, or the dog can just take a nap if they want. I love providing enrichment as much as possible!

Pet care experience

Hi! My legal name is Devon, but I prefer to go by Perci. I’m a 29 year old professional dog trainer based in Clackamas County, Oregon. I always had dogs growing up, and in college I worked as a dog daycare attendant and part-time trainer for 3.5 years. Additionally, I worked as a freelance trainer with Karma Dog Training for three years, and I’m also enrolled in a course to earn my CPDT certification with CATCH Canine Trainer’s Academy!

Devon was incredibly professional, responsive, and kept me updated throughout the entire stay. Her clear communication made me feel at ease while I was away, knowing my dog was in good hands. Thank you Devon for taking such good care of Luna.

Perci has watched my 7 month old kittens now a few times and has always made me feel very comfortable when I am away. She follows all of the instructions I leave, communicates with me, and is available when I have last minute trips. She is really easy going and respectful and I trust her with my babies and am grateful I found such a wonderful cat sitter. Thank you Perci for your kindness and ease of service.

Perci did such a good job sitting my babies. She communicated everything with me, showed up on time, administered the correct medications, and made me feel comfortable leaving my kittens away with her. This was my first time using Rover and I was very nervous but Perci made it seem less and I will definitely book her again. If you are looking for someone who shows up on time, can follow any and all directions, communicates well, this is the person you should hire! She is the best. Thank you again !

Devon is an amazing kitty sitter. I have 2 - 6 month old brother kittens, whom Devon (she goes by Percy) has now watched twice, for a week and also for a weekend and I was so nervous leaving them because they are my world. I do have some lengthy things I ask for and Percy (Devon) did everything no problem no questions asked. Also one of my kittens, Artemis, was taking an oral medication (and both my cats look the exact same) and she was able to ensure the right cats were getting the right food and right medication. While I was away she sent me pictures, checked in with me multiple times a day, showed up on time, and I did not worry about my cats at all - knowing they were being taken care of, by a good person in the comfort of my own home. If you are looking for any kind of pet sitter, I would 100% book Percy (Devon), she is reliable and very good at communication, and some of the other people I spoke to cancelled last minute. I trusted her 100% in my house with my babies and when I came home they were happy and comfortable. Thank you again Percy and next time I leave I would be more than happy to have you again. <3
