I currently do not offer boarding as I am doing renovations to my home. When doing pet sitting and walking work I from the get go work with the pups on sitting before I enter the home to ensure they do not try to sneak out when I come in, and anytime before leaving the home I ensure they are securely leashed. For sittings I take notes from the owner on feeding amount and times, established commands, allowances such as if they are allowed on furniture, medicine types and schedule, and ask them to close off any spaces the home owner wouldn't want me in so I don't have to potentially enter them looking for their pets.

Things I like to know are triggers the dog may have, any allergies they may have, what all types of play you allow, established commands, and any medicines they take.

I love hitting the parks through out Frederick when out walking. Especially Baker park. As far as fun for your furry friend I'm up for catch if there's a back yard at the sitting location, tug of war if you allow it, playing the shell game with them for treats, and all the tummy scratches they can handle.

I'm an animal lover with years of experience caring for my own pets, tending to an array of critters such as snakes and cattle professionally in working with a traveling circus sideshow, and working with others pets as a sitter, walker, and over the last couple years budding trainer. My focuses in pet care are working with pet owners that have larger high energy breeds that need longer/faster pace walks, rescues acclimating to new homes and families that need some extra time and care during the day, and in my training work my focus is teaching larger breeds in proper walking protocols and using positive reinforcement to establish the 7 essential commands.

Devon has been housesitting for us for a few years now. My boys all love him, he sends frequent updates and always leaves the house like he found it!
Devon came last minute when my dog walker cancelled. He responded immediately to my request and did a great job with my dogs. I am so appreciative and will definitely request his drop in again. Highly recommend!
