I currently work a full time job during the week. I’m able to do week night visits and weekend visits as well. Just looking to pick up a little extra cash and more experience taking care of any pets. Also with house sitting I generally can only do up to 5 hours at a time as I have my own dogs at home.

I am a positive reinforcement trainer, so I do not believe in the harsh methods of the past but the scientifically proven methods of the future! I prefer to take care of pets in your home. As taking pets to mine would be to stressful for my dogs. I can do walks, feeding, meds, really anything they need.

I love to learn how to give your dog or pet the best experience I can. If there are any allergies or special needs so I can care better for them and their specific needs. I don’t mind taking care of an animal with behavioral issues as I have two crazy’s of my my own but I require to meet them before doing the visits or walks to make sure it’s a good fit. Really any other information you feel the need to give is okay with me as well!
A typical day
I can do whatever makes your dog the happiest! If they want to play fetch or go for a walk. I also love any mentally stimulating games that I could give them to help wear them out for the day or night. I can feed them or give oral medication if needed as well.

Pet care experience
I’ve not only been taking care of animals my whole life, I also went to Animal Behavior College and became a dog obedience instructor! While going to school I learned how to handle dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. I even learned dog CPR, massage, and how to take care of exotic animals! I worked at a humane society for a couple years as well and have cared for a multitude of different dogs and cats.

We've used Devon a couple of times for in home dog sitting and she's been fanatasic. She's been great with our high energy breed dog and her communication skills are too notch. We would highly recommend her services.
Devon is very nice and our Lab loved her.
Devon was an excellent sitter for our small dog, Frederick. She came on time, gave frequent updates, followed any specific instructions given, and had excellent communication. Frederick had a great time and we felt easy knowing he was in great hands.
