I provide calm, reliable care tailored to each pet’s needs. I have experience caring for pets of all ages and temperaments, including seniors. I’m attentive to routines and body language, and I prioritize consistency, safety, and clear communication. I’m especially good with shy or anxious pets, taking a patient, low-stress approach that lets them set the pace. I have experience administering basic medications, following detailed care instructions, and maintaining familiar routines to help pets feel secure while their people are away. I also adapt play and engagement to different physical abilities, whether that means safely helping energetic pets burn off energy or taking things slowly and gently with pets recovering from surgery. I’ve lived with cats and dogs much of my life, and while I don’t currently have pets of my own, I bring that lifelong experience to every visit.

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routines and environment to minimize stress. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, and household rules. I’m careful to secure doors, windows, and gates, and I keep pets away from hazards while I’m there. For overnight stays, I ensure the home is left as I found it and that pets are settled, safe, and comfortable throughout the night. I communicate clearly with owners and provide updates so they know their pets are doing well while they’re away.

We had such a wonderful experience with Devon! She went above and beyond to make sure our dogs felt safe and comfortable during the Fourth of July fireworks. She also kept us updated throughout her stay with messages and photos, so we always knew how they were doing. It was clear she genuinely cared for our dogs, and they were calm and well cared for when we got home. We are so grateful for her kindness, reliability, and excellent communication, and we would absolutely book with her again. Highly recommend!

Devon was fantastic. Great communication throughout the process. We had a very good meet up beforehand and then she was right on time when the sitting was starting. She sent regular updates and took very good care of our two pups… gave them all the walks and attention they need (as one of our dogs gets some separation anxiety). She did a fantastic job.
Devon is amazing! She took care of my cat with diabetes. She administered insulin injections while I was away and took care of everything! I feel really comfortable with Devon taking care of my cat and my home. Thanks Devon!!
Devon was wonderful caring for all of our animals and our home/ garden! The animals loved her and she checked in with photos every day. Absolutely would recommend Devon to anyone and we’ll be using her for pet sitting again!

Schedule
I am currently in grad school and primarily working from home, so I have a very flexible schedule. I am available for drop-in visits during the day, or can stay over with pets who need more attention and care.
