This was my first time ever booking a dog sitter through Rover, and the whole process was incredibly easy. Clarsia & Devon were so accommodating, especially on such short notice. They took the time to meet with us beforehand so Cormick could meet the family and make sure it was a good fit for everyone. The communication was excellent, I received plenty of updates and photos while I was away, which gave me so much peace of mind. I wouldn't hesitate to book again and would absolutely recommend this family to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring dog sitter.

Safety, trust & environment

🏡 About Our Home We live in a single-family home on a quiet street with a fully fenced yard that backs onto a park. Our home has lots of space for a small–medium dog, and we have a senior cat who mostly keeps to himself. We enjoy exploring nearby spots like River Lot 56, Chickakoo, and our neighbourhood trails. 👶 Important Note About Kids We have a very busy, energetic four-year-old. Because of this, we only accept dogs who are extremely well-socialized with children and comfortable with a lively family environment. Dogs must be calm, safe, and predictable around kids. All interactions are supervised, and dogs always have access to quiet, kid-free areas. 🐶 Dog Requirements We’re a good fit for dogs who are: Small to medium size Very kid-socialized Friendly or neutral with cats House-trained Non-reactive and comfortable in a busy home Able to relax during the workday (outside holiday dates) 🤝 Meet & Greet Required A meet & greet is required before booking to ensure a safe and comfortable match for your dog and our family.

A typical day

🐾 A Typical Day Here A usual day in our home is a mix of routine, outdoor time, and cozy downtime. Mornings start with a quick outside break and breakfast, followed by some relaxed play or cuddles before we head into our day. We spend lots of the weekend playing in the yard, going for neighbourhood walks, and taking little adventures to places like River Lot 56 or Chickakoo. There’s plenty of time for sniffing, exploring, and naps. We’re out of the house from 9:00am–3:30pm on weekdays. Your dog can settle comfortably with our senior cat, relax in their favourite spot, and enjoy a calm mid-day break. When we get home, we head straight outside for fresh air and playtime before dinner. Evenings are cosy and family-oriented — a busy four-year-old playing, lots of movement and laughter, and plenty of adult supervision around all interactions. Your dog can join the fun or snooze in a kid-free quiet space anytime they want. Before bed, we do one last outdoor trip and tuck your pup into whatever sleep setup you prefer (crate, dog bed, etc.). Our goal is to make your dog’s stay feel as familiar, happy, and relaxed as possible.
