Hello prospective clients! My name is Devin and I am a high school teacher. I have been working with animals all my life. My friends and family call me the dog whisperer because I have helped train many of the pets in my family. From potty training to silly tricks, I know how to motivate a puppers to exhibit positive behaviors. My schedule varies, I am available Tuesday through Friday from 3 PM until 9 PM during the school year. On the weekends I’m available 8 AM until 10 PM. During the summer I am available any day almost anytime. I am very big on having a meet and greet before accepting any jobs. I want to ensure that we have a clear understanding of what is needed from me to ensure that you are happy with the care I am providing and that your babies are happy and safe!

A typical day
When I greet your pet, I like to speak to them and give them attention. I like to let them out right away or take them for a walk depending on your requests. If a day is really hot, I will limit the outdoor time and stay for pets and cuddles. I like to end my visit with a treat. I also follow whatever directions the owner has given me. I take a lot of photos and send them to the owners. I understand that I can be stressful to leave you for a baby with someone and it is comforting to get frequent updates. Also,I can do basic training such as how to walk on a leash, potty training. How to sit, stay, come, etc. I can also throw the ball or practice some skills.

Pet care experience
Dog training has been a hobby of mine since I was 11 years old. I love walking and training dogs. I even worked at a doggy daycare part time for a session. People in my family call me the Dog Whisperer because if I’m at a party, I’m training a dog how to do a new trick. My parents just got two lab mix and over the summer I worked on training them to use the bathroom outside, to sit, to stay, and to lay down. I also have a Chihuahua mix of my own, who knows a variety of tricks. If you’re interested in training, please let me know!

Devin was great with my dog, Sailor! I appreciated how she constantly updated me on how she was doing. I also received many photos of my animals, which I loved. Devin understood that Sailor would be apprehensive since it was their first meeting, and gave Sailor the space she needed until she became comfortable, along with some yummy liver treats. Would recommend!
We’re so thankful to know Devin to watch our golden, Oakley. He had a great time with her, loved her as soon as he met her and we had peace of mind knowing that he was well looked after. Communication was great and we’re sure to be repeat customers!
Devin has cared for my 2 dogs for several years and has proven to be responsible and caring. She even went above and beyond to teach my puppy how to sit, roll over and give you his paw. She is patient, kind and trustworthy. I highly recommend her to be a caregiver.
