Keeping animals safe comes before anything else. That includes the southern heat! After working in an emergency veterinary hospital, I strongly believe pet care workers must have situational awareness and take preventative measures to avoid incidents, especially heat related. I'm not looking to "bid" on jobs, I want to develop loyal relationships with clients and build trust. This is a profession, not a hobby to me. Training and desensitizing puppies to be around certain situations (farm animals, busy areas, grooming, kids etc) is something I am very passionate about and would love to help my clients with. They do carry certain behaviors and anxieties with them through life so it is extremely important to teach and guide them early on, especially for large breeds.

Safety, trust & environment
For any care provided in a clients home, I do ask for written detailed instructions that include any behaviors to watch out for from the animals, neighbors or general environment, please. My goal is to minimize any gray areas in client services. Transparency and integrity mean a lot in this industry, therefore I practice it as much as possible and I ask clients to do the same. Regarding walks and exercise, conditions will vary but generally if it's over 90 degrees outside it is too risky for 45+ minute walks or visits that are outdoors and I will not put a pet in danger for the sake of a timer, especially double coated breeds. **Please note, I have a strict policy on extended/flexi leads.** I am open to using them if there is only one dog to be walked but they must be in full working condition. Multiple dogs must have regular leashes or can be walked on my hands free leash system, with owner approval. ***For overnight stays, unless otherwise discussed, my posted rates are for 12HR overnight visits. If a pet requires 24hr monitoring, please message me to discuss rates as they will vary based on number of pets, distance etc ***

She even managed to get Kkumi, our notoriously picky eater, to eat better than she does for us! That alone speaks volumes. We had a fantastic experience with Deven! She was incredibly meticulous and caring, she making sure every detail of the routine was followed perfectly. What really stood out was her genuine nature, you can tell she has a soft heart and love for animals. She provided pictures and updates along the way, and it might be safe to say our dog looked disappointed when we got home! We would absolutely book her again, she is a true gem!

Wow! Wow! Wow! Deven was amazing from the first moment of reaching out to schedule a meet and greet to even after she left the last day of her sit. What meant even more to us was the love you can tell she put into our girls while we were gone. She sent multiple updates, pictures and videos throughout the day. She spoiled them and they were comfortable with her which means the world to us. We seriously think our dogs were sad when they saw it was us coming home and not her again haha. She also took great care of our home while she was here as well. Selfishly, we would like to keep her all to ourselves haha but we know others will truly benefit having her sit for them and want her to be booked as much as possible to fill her schedule if it allows as well. We will definitely be requesting to use her again next time it is needed and hopefully she is available!
I can't say enough good things about having Deven watch Mitch. From the meet and greet through the day she watched him the professionalism and communication exceeded my expectations. She sent updates and photos during the visit. I could tell Mitch was very happy and very well cared for the entire time. I will definitely use Deven in the future and highly recommend her to take care of your pet!
Where to begin with our experience with Deven? In summary, she's about as close to perfect as it gets. We had to reach out to Deven when our house/dog sitter cancelled unexpectedly just before our trip abroad. She understood the predicament we were in and like a true professional and without missing a beat, she 'project' managed the little time we had incredibly well. She made sure all of our questions and all of her questions were answered. She made sure everyone involved, especially Beaux and Bella, were comfortable with the arrangements. Her professionalism, valuable experience working with and love for animals was obvious from our first interaction until the final one. She left our home looking better than how we left it for her. She was in contact with us daily with updates, pictures, and videos. We can't express enough how grateful we are to her and we would recommend her in a heartbeat.

Schedule
I work remotely 3 weeks a month and I can accommodate daytime potty breaks only if permitted to work from the clients house during those days and not during the in office week. Please message me for the in office schedule as it's not something Rover allows us to tailor. ***Minimum stay is 5 days***
