Devan was a fabulous pet sitter for my dog And two cats whom one needs to take insulin shots. I appreciated all of the photos and clear communication. I felt very comfortable knowing she was taking care of my babies
Devan is outstanding! She was the first sitter we’ve ever used for our senior cat and we felt completely in tune with his health and wellbeing while we traveled, all thanks to Devan. Her timely updates, photos, and thorough notes helped us prepare for a vet visit and we could tell our boy, Tom, loved spending time with her! She was even willing to learn an injection technique to give Tom his daily steroid. Couldn’t recommend her more highly!

Devan got the cats on her side immediately and sent me so many happy pictures of them. I think they’re mad that I came home.
I have cranky, needy hounds (a basset and a redtick, both rescues). One of them is afraid of doors; the other needs to lie on me for a solid hour following her breakfast: that's how needy and pathetic they are. They're in the "oh geez, nobody but me should have to deal with this crap" category. But Devan?? Devan handles my dogs with EASE. She manages to ease the redtick through evil bitey doors (not my words, that's what the dog thinks) and convinces the basset that a toy will suffice instead of a lap... and Devan handles mealtimes and bedtimes with aplomb. If Devan can handle my little monsters, she can handle yours.
My two cats adore Devan! She’s reliable and loves them back. They hide from most strangers, but not Devan. I think it’s because she’s eager to learn about their personalities and what they want/like. And is always game for a snuggle.

Schedule
I'm currently working part time so I have a fair amount of flexibility depending on your location. I have a couple people I routinely sit for and am looking for a few more folks to add to that list.

I have a lot of options to help make your animal feel comfortable in your absence. Whether that means scheduling careful playdates for your dog or aggressively ignoring a cat until it loves me. Every animal is unique so we can figure out a good plan for what will be best for them.
A typical day
Depends on the animal! Tug-o-war, Dog Park, Water Dog Park, Fetch. Whatever works:). And for our cat friends, string (monitored of course), lasers, food puzzles, etc. ...one cat I know really likes videos of fish and classical music:)
