Availability
I work full time, and my schedule changes week to week. I work anywhere from 5 hours shifts to 8 hours. I am unable to leave for lunch breaks or anything like that, so I am available for pets who are able to be left alone up to 8 hours on days that I work. I do get two days off a week, and those days I'm available all day and can adjust my routine and schedule around your pets!

I have two playful pups at home that love to meet new people and dogs! Every 4-8 hours they go on potty breaks in the yard, which is decently big for running around. They go on 30 minute walks almost every day and a special hike or activity at least once a week. Caring for the pups is split between my boyfriend and I. While no one is home, my pups have free-range of and kitchen with all doors closed throughout the day. They always have access to toys, fresh water, and couches/dog beds to lounge on. Our dogs are allowed on the furniture and sleep in our bed with us at night, but we have two dog beds available as options. We love to give a couple treats/snacks throughout the day as well! I really enjoy making the time spent other pups fun, so they can feel as relaxed as possible while their people are away. As a pet parent myself, I respectfully follow all of my client's rules and what is required regarding their pets and home.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or any quirks that I would need to know about, so I can help them have the best time possible and most importantly keep them safe. If there are any specific things that comfort them or any fears or aggitations they have, this is also great information!
A typical day
I am happy to go for a daily walk or two with them! There are lots of hiking spots around Marquette we like to go to if your dog likes more intense activity and if you approve of them going on a car ride. Speaking of car ride, if your pup does better in the car than out in the woods, I can take them for a ride with the window down and maybe get them a little treat (if approved by their pup parent)! If your dog likes to swim and has a life jacket, I love to go to the beach and play fetch in the sand or the lake with them, and I know some pretty quiet, dog-friendly spots. I also have brain games I am happy to share to have the pups do a little work for their treats! If you have Kongs I like to make frozen Kong treats for pups to focus on, especially when it's hot. Sometimes we play hide and seek with treats, which our pups think is a lot of fun! And last but not least, nap time and cuddles are always an option. Lots we can do depending on your pups' interests and your comfort!

Pet care experience
I worked at a local vet clinic (2023-2025) as a receptionist and a vet assistant. It is not my chosen career path, but I did learn valuable skills and knowledge on caring for pets, especially ones with health concerns, as well as triaging for urgent cases and emergencies. I have taken training classes with one of my pups at home from beginner to advanced. I have experience with puppies,adults, and senior dogs, plus dogs with health issues. I have some experience sitting for cats, including kitties post-major surgery, and I grew up with cats who I had from the time they were kittens through to old age. I am comfortable with pets of all ages! I also grew up with dogs as big as Old English Mastiffs and as small as tea cup Chihuahuas, so I am comfortable with all sizes as well.

Destiny did an AMAZING job with our three pups! I was hesitant using Rover as I was worried about not knowing the person coming to our home and taking care of our pups, but Destiny reassured me immediately. She took detailed notes, kept me updated frequently, and sent pictures. Honestly, I questioned if she was taking better care of our pups than we do! 🤣 I highly recommend her and will be using her in the future!
Destiny was super communicative every time she checked on my pets. I felt good knowing they were fed and taken care of. I think my pets got more love and attention than they would have if I had been home with them! I will definitely use Destiny again if I need a sitter ☺️
Destiny was amazing with communication, reliability and sent photos and updates the whole time. I had no concerns that my pups were being well cared for, and wouldn’t hesitate to use her services again!
Destiny is so lovely! She made sure to keep us updated and kept our dogs occupied. Would love to hire her again!
