Hello, my name is Destiny and I am the owner of The Big Grey Dog Pet Sitting! I have experience working in a veterinary hospital that included a boarding facility for 10 years. I understand how hard it is on both pet and pet parents to separate during a vacation. That is why I wanted to do something different. Keeping a pet in a home environment is less stressful and can ease the mind of a pet owner. It offers less exposure to other animals and illness as well. Pets that require medications, special diets, older pets or special needs are certainly welcome! I will be with your pet during all hours since pet sitting is my sole profession. I AM UNABLE TO KEEP PITBULLS, AMERICAN STAFFORDSHIRE, AMERICAN BULLDOGS, MASTIFFS OR MIXES OF THESE BREEDS due to my separate pet sitting insurance regulations. All boarding dogs must be current on the rabies, and I recommend the DHLP, and bordatella (kennel cough) vaccines. Please provide a drop off/pick up time so I can schedule accordingly. Drop off and pickup times begin at 7:30am and end promptly at 7:30pm. Please be on time or let me know if you will be late before the time you specified. I am a full time sitter so I will be home with your pet the entire time they are with me here in my home. Your pet will be walked multiple times per day with longer walks in the morning and evening. They have full access to the house just like they would at home unless you specify otherwise. I try to keep the same schedule for your pet and they same sleeping arrangement as well to keep them calm and comfortable.
