Attentive Animal Lover!
I’ve always been a animal lover at heart! Growing up, dogs and cats have always been apart of the family, and now I have a dog of my own. To me, animals are family! Previously being a full time nanny, I have extensive background in caring for animals around the clock and adapting to other families needs and routines. I specifically have experience with ‘short snout’ breeds like French and American Bulldogs, and am always tentative to the needs of specific breeds- I.e. monitoring outside temperatures, time outside, etc. I also have experience with giving your pets medication, as I give my dog, Winnie, her prescription every day. I also volunteer with Charlotte Mecklenberg Animal Care and Control, so I have experience in/am comfortable with mitigating dogs stress in a unfamiliar environment. I can’t wait to meet and care for your pup!

Josie always has the BEST time with Destiny!
Great experience with Destiny! She took amazing care of our 4 month old puppy and kept me updated throughout the day with pictures, which gave a lot of peace of mind on our first day apart. When I picked our girl up, she was calm, happy, and clearly had a great day. Would absolutely book with her again and recommend her to others.

I was really concerned about leaving my labradoodle, Bella, with just anyone. Bella can really take some time to warm up to people and she is a little skittish at first. However, Destiny knew what to do right from the start! She was attentive, calm, patient, and really took her time to allow Bella to warm up to her. I felt so confident with Bella in her hands, I never had any concern. By the time I picked Bella up, I could tell she really enjoyed her time with Destiny. So happy to have met you!
Destiny is the best pet sitter ever! My dog Penny gets so excited every time she sees her! I’m starting to think my dog loves her more than me. It’s an easy choice any time I need a helping hand. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to take care of my little girl. Thank you for being so great!

I love talking dogs on walks, weather permitting, and stimulating their mind with puzzle games, toys, and rewarding positive behavior with treats! Sometimes, the most fun thing you can do with a dog is relax with them.
