It’s important for me to know key details about your pets ahead of time so I can provide the best care possible. This includes their daily routine, feeding schedule, medications or health concerns, behavioral quirks, triggers, likes and dislikes, and how they interact with people or other animals. Knowing their energy level, training commands, and any special needs helps me keep them comfortable, safe, and happy while maintaining consistency with what they’re used to at home.

A typical day with the pets I watch is structured but fun. I start the morning with potty breaks, feeding, and fresh water, followed by some playtime or a walk to help them burn off energy. Throughout the day, I make sure they get plenty of attention, enrichment, and exercise—whether that’s outdoor walks, backyard play, fetch, tug-of-war, or indoor games depending on the pet’s needs and personality. I also include quiet time for rest, cuddles, or independent play so they feel comfortable and relaxed. I love keeping pets mentally and physically stimulated, so I’ll use puzzle toys, basic training refreshers, or sensory games when appropriate. In the evening, we do another walk or play session, dinner, and wind down time. I always follow the owner’s routine closely and make sure pets feel safe, loved, and cared for while having fun throughout the day.
