I have a full time job which I work 7:30-5pm on Monday through Friday, I have a hybrid WFH schedule with Monday’s off. I am used to waking up early and exercising so I’d love to take your dog for an early morning walk and another in the evening to get all the energy out! It’s also easy for me to drop in during lunch if I am in the office during the week.

When I care for pets in a clients home, if any messes or accidents happen within that timeframe, I will always leave a clients home better than I found it. I keep a clean home as well and always ensure there is nothing a dog can into or eat that may cause them harm. I treat every dog and home as if it were my own. I’ve been house sitting for years and there is nothing more valuable than the trust a client gives for you to not only take care of their animal but to also have access to their home. It is something I take very seriously.

I have no breed preferences. I love dogs in all shapes and sizes. I would like to know how well the dog is around other people and other dogs so I can avoid situations that the dog might feel provoked. I would also like to know how well the dog adjusts to someone new coming in and walking them. Any other unique information about the dog that you feel I should know is very important to me.
A typical day
When I am caring for you dog, I will either take your for a long walk or to a nearby park, it is up to you! One of the things I am most cautious about is a dogs health as the temperatures start to rise. Since the pavement can reach harmful temperatures that can burn your dogs feet I prefer to take them in the early morning or late evening. If the dog has any toys or likes playing catch in the backyard, I will ensure they get their energy out. I am also always open to suggestions if you have any ideas on where you would like me to take your dog or what activities you would like me to do.

Since I was a teenager, friends and family have always trusted me to take care of their dogs and when I turned 18, I started house sitting for them so their dogs would be in a comfortable environment while they were away. I have cared for senior dogs who could barely walk outside to go to the bathroom and puppies who have too much energy for their own good, and all types of dogs inbetween. I am very active so I have no problem ensuring your pet get's time to play and exercise, but I am also down to just cuddle your dog that would rather lay on the couch and chew a bone. I also know the importance of puppy training and how crucial it is to keep them on a schedule and reinforce good habits.

Destinee took amazing care of my pets and home while I was away this weekend! She stayed at my house with my dog, Chester Beans, and my cats, Radio and Gizmo, and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. She communicated regularly, sent updates, and made me feel completely at ease knowing all of my fur babies were in good hands. Destinee helped care for our pup Penny after my wedding. She picked up Penny from the venue and dropped her off at our home the next day. She communicated well and took good care of our pup. We will likely contact her again in the future.
As always, Destinee was awesome with my senior pup Kona. Kona requires insulin twice a day after her feedings along with lots of TLC and Destinee made sure she got everything she needed. Destinee is very reliable, flexible and very quick to respond to texts and daily updates. I highly recommend her.
