I have had my own cats for 12 years. I had a dog for 12 years as well. I currently volunteer for a cat rescue out of Louisville, since April 2021. I love cats and dogs. I make my own schedule with my job so I will be available to take care of your pets needs throughout the day and evening time. I have a large backyard available for play. I have cats if your pet enjoys company, if not they have an entire room to themselves. I have 3 extra large crates available for use if your pet needs/prefers crate time.

Destinee did an amazing job taking care of my kitty, Goigemur, while I was away. She was dependable, attentive, and clearly took great care to make sure he was comfortable and well looked after. She followed all of my care instructions, kept everything in great shape, and gave me peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. I would absolutely book with Destinee again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!

Milo is kinda slow to warm up to others, typical of a chihuahua, but it would appear he did great while staying with Destinee. She provided daily updates along with pics. Milo even got to make new fury friends while he was there. Id gladly rebook with Destinee next time I have to travel and leave Milo behind.
good communication. good people. but my boy came back with a lot of weight loss. im not sure why it happened but it made me a little sad.

Since I do my own schedule, I only need about an hours notice to be available. This allows me to keep your pet care routine the same as it would be at home.

I enjoy taking dogs on walks around the neighborhood. If your dog enjoys a car ride, we can take the short trip down to the Henryville Forestry to walk and check out the different scenery and smells.
