We're new to Seattle after moving from North Carolina, and we'd love to meet some new four-legged friends! Between the two of us, we've spent our lives around animals. We both grew up with dogs as beloved family members, and today we share our home with cats and a rabbit. While we adore our own pets, we miss the joy of spending time with dogs and would love to give yours the attention, exercise, and affection they deserve. Lucas is a former dog trainer with experience understanding canine behavior and reinforcing good habits using positive interactions. Des is happiest with a tennis ball in hand and is always ready for a game of fetch, a long walk, or plenty of belly rubs and cuddles. We enjoy caring for pets of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities—from energetic puppies to gentle senior companions and everyone in between. We also have experience with cats, rabbits, and other small animals. We're comfortable administering oral medications and have experience giving subcutaneous fluids to senior cats, so we're happy to care for pets with extra medical needs. Although we can't host pets in our apartment, we're available for walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting in your home. We'll follow your pet's routine closely, treat your home with respect, and send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing they're in caring, capable hands. Every pet is unique, and we'll make sure yours receives the love, patience, and individualized care they deserve. We can't wait to meet you and your floofy family member!

Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
Safety is my #1 priority when it comes to my own pets and it will be with yours as well! Dogs will always be on a non-retractable leash (I have my own, if you do not) and we will be sure to follow whatever house rules you have in place. Cats will never be allowed outside unless that is something you prefer and specifically request.

Des and Lucas were excellent caretakers for my pup. It was her first time being away from us and she (and I) had a lot of anxiety, but it was so nice to see how comfortable she was getting with them. They were also very communicative and reliable! I will 💯 rebook again!!!
Desiree and Lucas were the absolute best sitters we could have asked for. Super consistent, great communication, and left us very confident Kitty was in good hands. Kitty had a UTI and they were great about administering her meds and taking care of her litter so that she could start feeling better. Couldn’t recommend more highly!

Desiree and Lucas took wonderful care of our cats, were super accommodating and understanding of all their quirks, and gave us thorough and helpful updates throughout our booking! They are fantastic caretakers who have a clear love for animals of all kinds, and we will definitely be booking again in the future! Cannot recommend them enough!
Desiree and Lucas took amazing care of our dog (and house) while we were away for 3 weeks. They did a great job of learning our routines ahead of time. Their communication was fantastic with daily updates with pictures of their walks and other adventures with our dog. Perhaps most importantly, it was obvious when we returned home that our dog adored them and his experience with them was wonderful. They also did a superb job of taking care of our home and yard while we were away. They have earned our complete trust and we would absolutely work with them again and have our highest recommendation.

Schedule
We both work remotely and have flexible schedules which means we can work around your pet's routines and needs. Fitting in multiple visits or walks per day is not a problem.
