Des took such great care of Belka the week we were gone traveling. Belka can be so anxious and unsure of people, but by the time I returned, Belka had opened up so much to Des that she didn’t want to leave their side! It made me so happy to know Belka was being taken care of by someone who wanted to make sure, above all else, Belka was comfortable :’) We also really appreciated the photos and videos and the check-ins on how Belka is… We missed her a lot, but we never worried about her once since we knew Des was taking care of her!
We are so thankful for Dez looking our girl, Rey. Dez was more than willing to watch her last minute after plans fell through with someone else. They made sure to make Rey feel comfortable in a new environment and asked all the questions needed to get to know Rey and her routine. Thank you again, Dez, for taking such excellent care of our girl.
Desi was wonderful with our dog. From drop-off to pick-up, they were communicative and kept us updated throughout the stay with photos and videos, which we really appreciated since our dog can get anxious at times. Based on the updates we got and how relaxed and happy our pup was when we picked her up, it's clear Desi took great care of her. Would definitely book with them again!

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I maintain a flexible schedule that allows me to prioritize consistency, supervision, and quality time with the pets in my care. For house sitting and boarding, I structure my day around feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and rest to maintain each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I am typically able to provide multiple walks per day for dogs, structured activity for high-energy pets, and steady companionship throughout the day. For pets with specific routines or needs, I am happy to follow detailed instructions to ensure continuity and comfort. :)

Safety and trust are my top priorities! In a client’s home, I carefully follow all provided instructions regarding feeding, medications, routines, and household guidelines. I treat every home with the utmost respect and ensure doors, gates, and crates are secured properly at all times. For boarding in my home, I maintain a clean, calm, and structured environment. Pets are supervised, walked on secure leashes, and given appropriate physical and mental stimulation based on their energy level. I avoid off-leash situations unless explicitly discussed and approved. I provide regular updates and photos so you always feel informed and confident while you’re away. My goal is to create a safe, low-stress environment where pets can relax and feel cared for. :)
A typical day
A typical day is structured around your pet’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. Mornings include feeding, potty breaks or walks, and light play or enrichment. Throughout the day, I provide supervision, interaction, and rest time depending on your pet’s energy level, and music and calm for any animals with anxiety. For active dogs, this may include multiple walks and structured play. For seniors or lower-energy pets, the focus is on calm companionship and consistency. Evenings include a final walk or potty break, dinner, and a settled nighttime routine! I aim to maintain as much of your pet’s normal schedule as possible so their experience feels familiar and low-stress.

- Before any stay, I like to know your pet’s daily routine, feeding schedule, energy level, and any behavioral considerations such as leash pulling, reactivity, separation anxiety, or resource guarding. Please also share any medical needs, medications, allergies, or sensitivities. For boarding, it’s especially helpful to know: • Crate training status • Potty training reliability • Comfort being left alone briefly • How they interact with new environments Clear communication helps ensure a smooth, safe, and positive experience for everyone.
