I like to try to keep your animals routine to as close as to their normal daily routine. So, any information regarding their favorite spots to play or lay or cuddle, or hide if they are shy, or what they like to do, what their temperament is, what kind of food and or treats they like, any food allergies or medications they need and the best way to administer them are all great info to share with me. Also if they have a favorite toy to play with. I know with the Summers in Tucson mental stimulation is huge for cats but especially dogs because it's hard to walk them at a time of day that is cool enough. I have been called the animal whisperer many times. I treat every clients animal as if they were my own and I know how important your animals well being is to you because it's huge for me as well.

All dog breeds, tempermant and dog sizes welcome. All cat breeds, tempermant, age welcome. For drop-ins puppies must be 4 months and older. So, any information regarding their favorite spots to play or lay or cuddle, or hide if they are shy, or what they like to do, what their temperament is, what kind of food and or treats they like, any food allergies or medications they need and the best way to administer them are all great info to share with me. Also if they have a favorite toy to play with. Also, knowing if your dog is food or toy aggressive or does not like certain noises or places or other animals. Same goes for cats and any animals.
A typical day
Depending on what your dog(s) loves to do I can take them on walks around their neighborhood, go to a dog park near you, and/or go for a walk at a local park. If it is not too hot. If it's too hot either lots of cuddle time, or mental stimulation inside. If your dog is a senior or is a dog that just wants lots of petting then I will be their best buddy! I am here for your dog(s) and their needs. As far as cats go I am very in tune with what their wants and needs are. Some love to play with their toys, some take a while to trust you, some will play chase, so will just want you to lay with them and pet them the entire time. Every cat and dog and animal are different and I try to do what is best for that particular animals.

Animals have been a huge part of my life. I have worked professionally in Pet Hotels/Doggie Day Cares and in animal welfare. During these positions I would walk and play with all different breeds and sizes of dogs. I would also monitor the different play groups, and make sure all animals were in good health while making sure they were matched in the right play group. These facilities would also house cats, so I am very familiar with cats and their different behaviors and needs. Amongst working with dogs and cats I have also volunteered with farm animals including horses, burros, chickens, goats, sheep, etc... I have been animal sitting on and off for many years. I am very comfortable with many different types of animals/behaviors; I love them all equally. I am a very reliable, personable, trustworthy and dedicated person. I am great at following directions and will make sure to keep you updatd. I can also administer medications if needed. I am happy to water a few plants but if there are several an extra fee may be applied. I love giving owners the same peace of mind I look for with my animals when I go out of town. Rest assured your fur babies will be in good hands. 💜 If house sitting animals must be able to make it 8 hours a night without needing to go potty. I do not accept puppies, all dogs must be at least a year or very close to a year. I am also a part-time caregiver, which means I could be gone for 5 hours a day 5 times a week. LGBTQ friendly

Desiree was so incredible with our dogs! We have high energy and medically complicated animals and she was so attentive and was so wonderful. Kept us in the loop and sent so many great pics 💗
I wish I could give Desiree a good review, but she left my home and pets after only 3 days without actually speaking to me only via text messages and photos of what was going on. I attempted to call her and pleaded with her to speak to me. I would have tried to resolve and rectify the situation without her leaving so abruptly. I was thousands of miles away, and had to scramble to find a solution so that my pets were taken care of. She assured me she would not leave my pets, but HAD to leave my home. I was stressed and distraught, it ruined my trip, and all I could do was worry for days how my pets were. I called in a family friend to assist and it all worked out, but I am still stunned at her complete lack of professionalism. My puppy had peed in the guest bedroom which I was not aware of, and she got gotten several bug bites, which she had to text me a photo of every single one. The week prior to my departure my house inside and out was sprayed which I have done regularly. I have never had issues with bug bites myself, nor have my house guests. I think she is a kind person, but really unfortunate circumstances and leaving my house and pets so that I had to scramble for help.
My cats were very well cared for. I appreciated getting the photos. I will certainly have Desiree care for Poppsie and Bertie in the future.
