Safety, trust & environment
Safety is my first priority. I double check that all doors and gates are secure, keep a close eye on pets during outdoor time, and follow feeding and medication instructions precisely. Trust is everything, so I’ll ensure that you feel comfortable leaving your pet. I aim to keep pet(s) active with at least 3–4 walks or play sessions per day (adjusted to their needs) so they stay happy, healthy, and relaxed while you’re away.
Information Deshun M. would like to know about your pet
I have extensive experience with pets who have special needs, including those who are blind, deaf, paralyzed, or on medication schedules. My background working at a vet clinic taught me how to provide calm, careful care from administering medications to assisting with mobility. I know it can be stressful to leave a pet with medical needs, so I focus on communication and reassurance so you always feel informed.
A typical day
I like to keep pets engaged both mentally and physically. A typical day might start with a morning walk or run, followed by a stimulating activity like a puzzle feeder to encourage slower eating and better digestion. Later in the day, I’ll mix in playtime: fetch, tug of war, light training, or enrichment games, and finish with another walk. Every routine is tailored to your pet’s age, energy level, and personality.

Pet care experience
Hello! I hope this finds you well. When you book with me, you can rest assured you’ll be worry free! I bring a unique mix of veterinary experience and real world animal care. Before attending UCLA, I worked at a veterinary clinic where I administered medications, assisted with post op care, and handled pets of all temperaments. I’m comfortable with everything from kittens to senior pups. Growing up on a farm gave me hands on experience with dogs, cats, cattle, horses and a wide range of animals, so nothing fazes me. I focus on keeping pets calm, safe, and happy while providing owners with regular updates and peace of mind.

Reviews

Deshun was very good with my fur baby, and and excellent house sitter. Will be booking 100% again, thank you.

Deshun took great care of our young dog Rocky and elderly cat Alice. He did a great job of following our instructions and was very attentive to them. He was constantly communicating with us and sending pictures. We’d love to book with him again!

Deshun did an amazing job watching my old pup! he was very caring and attentive! Would recommend booking with him!!!

Deshun was a consummate professional. He showed up a week before the scheduled dog sit just to meet my dog and make sure there weren't any issues. He kept me updated with daily pics of him and Phoebe having a great time and left my apartment in perfect shape. Would definitely hire again.
