I’ve had pets my entire life and absolutely love all animals. I work from home in Longview WA and have a nice fenced in yard and three story house with plenty of room to help take care of some fur babies. I’m an avid cat/dog lover, volunteer at Cowlitz county humane society and foster pets in need. I have experience with bottle feeding kittens, caring for special needs animals, and have had pets nearly my entire life.

This was our first time using Rover.com and having a dog sitter. We choose Derrick based on location and previous reviews and he was an excellent choice and very professional. He met with us and our 2 German Shepard's before watching them at our house. We were very nervous about leaving them with a stranger but Derrick eased our worries. He communicated and sent pictures of the dogs while we were away for a week. The dogs were happy and well cared for when we came home. He even tidied up the house which was not expected. I highly recommend Derrick for any of your pet sitting needs! He went above and beyond in our experience! Thank you Derrick!!

Schedule
I work from home so my schedule is very open and flexible. With the exception of occasional work meetings, I’ll be able to care for pets from home or take pets on walks.

Safety, trust & environment
Fenced in yard-I have one black lab named Onyxia who is very sweet. I have 2 indoor elderly cats that stick to themselves. I have plenty of space to care for some fur babies.
Pets
A typical day
Take on walks, play fetch, sprinkler in the summer etc. I am very active outside and love to go on walks and play and give love and attention. I primarily walk around lake Sacajawea.
