A typical day
An average day starts with walks in beautiful spots like Pollok Park, Maxwell Park, and Queens Park. I focus on building trust with each dog, ensuring they're comfortable before letting them off-lead for a game of fetch. Scenic walks allow for exploration and sniffing around, while playful chases keep their spirits high. Each outing is a mix of adventure and bonding, creating a joyful experience for the dogs in my care. By the end of the day, I’m fulfilled knowing they’ve had fun and exercise!

Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs my entire life from puppy to senior with love and compassion. I have taken care of dogs with health issues and have no problem giving them baths or whatever they need.

Dermot was booked to housesit our dogs for 9 days. It was agreed our dogs should not be left over 5.5 hours. On returning home we were asked by Rover for a review and this prompted us to check our Ring camera footage. Unfortunately he left our dogs on several occasions for 8 hours with one day him leaving them 8 hours, returning only to put them out in the garden and then leaving them a further 8 hours - not what was agreed or acceptable. For 3 days Dermot did not leave the house and put the dogs out in the garden only. When we queried this with Dermot on our return he had initially advised the weather had stopped him walking our dogs but then told us he had been unwell. Overall, not the level of care we had agreed for our dogs.

Dermot was absolutely fantastic with my foster dog who is still in training. He was great to communicate with and I’d definitely book with him again.
