Dermot was booked to housesit our dogs for 9 days. It was agreed our dogs should not be left over 5.5 hours. On returning home we were asked by Rover for a review and this prompted us to check our Ring camera footage. Unfortunately he left our dogs on several occasions for 8 hours with one day him leaving them 8 hours, returning only to put them out in the garden and then leaving them a further 8 hours - not what was agreed or acceptable. For 3 days Dermot did not leave the house and put the dogs out in the garden only. When we queried this with Dermot on our return he had initially advised the weather had stopped him walking our dogs but then told us he had been unwell. Overall, not the level of care we had agreed for our dogs.

Dermot was absolutely fantastic with my foster dog who is still in training. He was great to communicate with and I’d definitely book with him again.

Dermot is a wonderful and responsible pet owner, having had dogs since he was young. He regularly looks after my two dogs Ziggy and Stephen, providing them with walks, food, company and love. My dog Ziggy has epilepsy and needs daily medication, I trust Dermot completely to provide this for him and give him the best care. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Dermot to care for anyone’s pet.

Dermot has been a responsible and loving pet owner for most of his life. In his youth with his first dog, Edie. And now, with his beloved best friend, Page. He has taken care of this feisty Jack Russell for 16 years. Additionally, he will look after my 2 Romanian rescues whenever he is needed and will always make sure they get their food, walks and medicine.
